I have the same tractor since new in 1982. Has served me well (1500 hours total)without missing a beat for all those years. Did replace the camshaft plug that failed and caused an oil pressure issue. A bit of work but easily done. Same setup with the plow and undercarriage. Took that completely off when I arrived in NC in 2006. Now use a 42" Bush Hog and a Mittorti tiller extensively. I think I paid about $4200 for the setup and consider it one of my smartest purchases of all time! Keeping the old guy and just bought a B2601...need front hydraulics and more HP to tend more land.
Ha my brother. I purchased a b2601 last summer, same reason. But I have to tell you ....I just love my b6100. I bought it last summer from original owner with 166 hours! It has a belly mower but I just love driving it, it’s just great!

Awesome! I love the old tractor. My dad bought it new and I plan to keep it running tip top to pass on to my son.
