Into the Matacanes Canyon at La Ruta Madre Adventure Race

On day one at La Ruta Madre Adventure Race in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, teams began their desent of the Matacanes Canyon - with many rappels, swims, slides, caves and climbs to come over the next few hours.
The 500km race is a new ARWS Demonstration race for 2023 and the 200km distance is part of the ARWS North America Series.
