    Im a trucker, go all over, and let me tell you ive seen tent cities and camper cities pretty much everywhere out west. And it is definately more in the past 3 or 4 years than in the past.
    Just another sign we are failing as a nation. 1 by 1 people cant afford housing anymore.

      That's what happened after Trump was the worst economically since the great depression.... it's about to get a lot worse for Americans.... but you won't have to worry about seeing it because they'll be sent to the concentration camps too

      Nope.
      More and more people are making bad decisions.
      Decisions have consequences.
      I’m not responsible for their well being - THEY ARE.
      Cuba provides shit, they should go there.

      Bad decisions?...
      Like getting cancer.
      Like being in a car wreck.
      Like losing your job, and getting evicted.
      Hundreds of housed people are one missed paycheck from becoming homeless.
      All over America. Wages are flat, rent goes up, and up again.
      Many factors cause people to lose housing, sometimes bad judgment, sometimes just bad luck.

    • @nomaderic
      @nomaderic 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @docwatson1134 it's more than hundreds. I'd say it's a good portion of the nation. Currently 140 million Americans are classified as in poverty or low income. Most ppl are one bad moment away from being homeless

    • @docwatson1134
      @docwatson1134 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @nomaderic Yeah, I was thinking just in Bozeman, hundreds of people at high risk. But didn't have the population numbers as I was commenting. Btw, population of Bozeman Montana is 57,000. One percent would be around 600 people, it's probably twice that number that can't cover a sudden $500 expense.
      Scary how many are that close to the edge.
      I think the city needs to acknowledge the obvious, and create safe parking lots, until affordable housing is available.

    • @nomaderic
      @nomaderic 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @docwatson1134 every time any city tries to create anything for the homeless every nimby in a 5 mile radius comes out to get it shut down. Ppl say they don't want these ppl on the streets yet everytime they propose to create housing or parking it gets shut down. It's a nationwide problem.
