OMG! This is awesome, even if they are not related to Altair or Ezio. They still deserve to have a full game in the series. I would love to play in India or Russia setting
Damphampster yea and this one to me is much better than China. They added non stealth kills smoke grenades and much more that make it feel very good. In looking forward to Russia next year.
Damn, look at how much hate these Chronicles spin-off games are getting. I'm guessing the same hate would show if Activision made a Call of Duty 2.5D platformer? Anyways, this game looks nice, although it should REALLY be available on mobile devices, or at least tablets. I never actually finished China but I want this one too...
+MLA Kang That's a shame...so the rumors of it being broken are true. :S And the Russia one is supposed to come out in less than a month lol, that would probably be broken as well.
+MLA Kang Ah, I think I played something like that before, which had those same issues. Probably gonna have to pass on this one then. I honestly can't remember if it had similar mechanics in Chronicles China. I'm pretty sure I remember playing a part where some ability was locked even though it had a tutorial of it in previous levels.
WOW you're so good at this game, took me 30 minutes to finish this first mission maybe more if not for your gameplay. Thank you very much kind sir!! Have a like.
I never expected assassin's creed to be brought into this style of game. it looks very well done! it's a nice change of pace. it reminds me of the games I used to play back on Sega Genesis!
The game looks great, but i'd say they missed a chance to make a complete AC game in india. Would have been great with all the beautiful landscapes and Arbaaz is a great assassin. Hopefully Evie and Henry has a kid and becomes an assassin and there could be chance for a game set in India. Evie's kid would be a badass assassin!!!
Kinda wish this was a fully fledged out 3D AC game. I would have definitely liked to see an interesting setting such as this in the AAA category of gaming.
India has the most epic and fantastic (in the sense of fantasy) mythologies. If they were to get some actual scholars and make a deeply conceptual game placed in India it could be ground breaking. They should make it so that the protagonist could develop some of the Eight mystical perfections (siddhi) and utilize them in puzzle solving and strategy. Aṇimā ability to become smaller than the smallest Mahima ability to become larger than the largest Garima ability to become heavier than the heaviest Laghima ability to become lighter than the lightest Prāpti ability to obtain any (physical) object Prākāmya ability to fulfill ones desires Isitva ability to control others minds Vaśitva ability to choose ones time of death and rebirth Above all make it PHILOSOPHICAL!!
Do the 3 Chronicles games have some modern link to them? Like some reason for us seeing these adventures played out or is it just backstory much like Altiar's Chronicles?
So many people hate this game. For me, it's pretty good. I like the new gameplay style, and more strategy in here. But still, I like the original style most.
My two cents: they shouldn't be wasting these amazing locations on Chronicles. Look, I don't conceptually hate Chronicles, but they definitely feel like they're robbing me of potential games. People have been clamoring for China or Japan for ages, they say they won't do it because it's unoriginal, then suddenly the China episode comes out. Syndicate talks about certain protagonists visiting India after the game is done, but instead of getting a fully fleshed out continuation of the story in a very new place, we get a sidescroller. See, I don't mind that the next one will be Russia, because comics already covered the major Assassin story there, so there wasn't much hope for games to go there anyways. My opinion is that the Ottoman empire (explore Yusuf's story) and something like Germany circa second Reich would be better choices. Times and locations that aren't exactly clamored for but still have potential for a platformer, while making sure the biggest locations we'd like aren't being used up in peripheral media.
in my pinion syndicate was shit but the chronicles series is very cool the combat system is really nice and better than syndicate unity black flag or assassins creed 3 i will buy chronicles india but i won't buy empire i will borough it from a friend (sorry for bad english i'm german ^^)
+Justin Schick why was syndicate shit to you? For all of Ubisoft's one year releases this has been their best game, the graphics are good, there is enough story/sidestory to keep you entertained, good gameplay mechanics and a nailed skill tree, what is their to hate about it?
+Justin Schick I agree, although I loved Black Flag. Unity was a fail and had an awful story and Syndicate made a step in the right direction but still suffered for me. (While I admire Syndicate's humor, I think they made all the historical figures overly humorous from the way they talked.) I kinda like the seriousness aspect of AC but also have its piece of humour in it as well. (If that makes any sense. Like Ezio, how he was serious but charismatic, charming, and funny.)
+Scott Barcomb there were only 9 sequences and two of them had only 1 mission the skill system was ok but the combat system was crap you only had to press one button and in unity i hadn't had bugs or glitches and i was more motivated for making the platin trophy
Justin Schick in unity there are 12 sequences with 2-3 missions per sequence, with a total of 29 missions. In syndicate there are 9 sequences with an average of 3-5 missions per sequence, with a total of 37 missions. That's 8 more missions than unity, and take into account that they are all long and well planned missions versus unity's rushed story and Arno's lacking personality. Also, the base game of syndicate comes with 4 different associates you can do missions for, and they each have at least 4 equally long missions compared to the main story. The combat system in unity isn't any better than syndicate's at all in terms of button mashing, and if you actually cared to learn about the specific combo moves you can do in syndicate, it becomes a lot more fun and enjoyable to play.
+William Ross do you comment on every video. trying to defend unity? the only good thing about Unity was its multiplayer heists. and even they weren't that good
Still don't like the fact that Sikhs are the bad people in the game, being from a Sikh background I actually know the time and history of the timeline this game is set in and it's exactly opposite of this game.
Because if a game has bad graphics it is immediately bad. You Sheep. Chronicles China was very interesting and fun, but it didn't look nice so it was horrid.
+Koby Ball Exactly. Judging a game by its graphics is totally wrong. Gameplay was, is and always will be more important in a game than graphics. Nobody wants a good looking game which is boring and empty.
Manoel Eduardo Araujo I hate hypocrites. AC fans are always begging for new ideas yet they complained about: tower defense in Revelations, the frontier in AC3, the naval focus in Black Flag, playing as a templar in Rogue, the character customization in Unity, the multiplayer in Unity, the sidescrolling spin-offs of the AC Chronicles Trilogy, the carriages in Syndicate, and finally the rope launcher in Syndicate. They beg for change yet the second any change is made they complain about it.
This is absolutely awful, looks like one of those games you'd get on your phone ffs. They had to ruin another great assassin's storyline with shitty game play.
Step 1: Play Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India and its predecessor Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. Step 2: Realize you are wrong and enjoy these absolutely fantastic sidescrolling stealth games that only cost you 10 bucks. Seriously people will complain about ANYTHING!
Mr MMR The level design, gameplay, controls, visuals, and plot are all stellar. Honestly for its price you would normally expect a 20th of what you get with the Chronicles games. Oh and no, a phone couldn't even begin to run these games, a PSVita is more than capable of it, but a phone is far from it. These games are spin-offs, which means they won't be exactly like main series titles, and they aren't priced as such either.
OMG! This is awesome, even if they are not related to Altair or Ezio. They still deserve to have a full game in the series. I would love to play in India or Russia setting
+Sand Shadow Well lucky for you this one is set in India and the next one is set in Russia!
for people saying its shitty PLAY THE FUCKING GAME! it's a great platformer and very satisfying to play.
Thank you! I quite enjoyed the 2d platforming in China, it makes the parkour stealth feel much more nimble and easy.
Damphampster yea and this one to me is much better than China. They added non stealth kills smoke grenades and much more that make it feel very good. In looking forward to Russia next year.
I'm waiting for the vita version, because while this looks amazing: it really does feel more like a game for a portable device
+SoberDog Its not bad for sure ! But i reckon what everyone means is that it would be alot better as a full featured game!
+SoberDog russia is coming next month
for those who do not know: the protagonist in this game Arbaaz Mir is the father of the assassin leader Jayadeep Mir A.K.A. Henry Green
it's better than i thought actually.....

Amazing Gameplay! Great Job xD
This should be a console game. Just imagine the ancient Indian scenery with modern graphics
Sweet! I loved AC Chronicles China, so I might get this too.
What a charming idea, making an AC game in this style. Funny, I didn't know it existed until just now.
Thanks for sharing. =)
The game looks great, but i'd say they missed a chance to make a complete AC game in india. Would have been great with all the beautiful landscapes and Arbaaz is a great assassin. Kinda wish this was a fully fledged out 3D AC game. I would have definitely liked to see an interesting setting such as this in the AAA category of gaming.
It's funny how many people hate this game, considering that the gameplay, combat, climbing, is so mutch back to the roots like in the Ezio times...
India has the most epic and fantastic (in the sense of fantasy) mythologies. If they were to get some actual scholars and make a deeply conceptual game placed in India it could be ground breaking. Aṇimā ability to become smaller than the smallest
Mahima ability to become larger than the largest
Garima ability to become heavier than the heaviest
Laghima ability to become lighter than the lightest
Prāpti ability to obtain any (physical) object
Prākāmya ability to fulfill ones desires
Isitva ability to control others minds
Vaśitva ability to choose ones time of death and rebirth
Above all make it PHILOSOPHICAL!!
Interestingly, this Assassin is Henry's father from Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
I love the trident as a weapon, Iove more that its a hidden blade!
I really love the art 😍
Do the 3 Chronicles games have some modern link to them? Like some reason for us seeing these adventures played out or is it just backstory much like Altiar's Chronicles?

more fun than unity in my opinion also very nice graphics
***** why? Not aloud an opinion are my
Reminds me of the Prince of Persia Sands of time original game😱
+Dylan Davis Yeah but it look so real I though it was 3d game
+Sand Shadow Chronicles India, Russia and China have the same gameplay
what an absolute pro! are u one of the devs?
🙌🙌 Hehe thanks but I am not a dev :)
It's so beautiful...
This would be one heck of a game for a mobile device or a psvita of sorts
My two cents: they shouldn't be wasting these amazing locations on Chronicles.

this looks cool but I still wish they can make a open world based on this
im actually indian and can understand what the guards are saying. just another reason i love this game
+salam iscrazi What are they saying O.o?
stupid shit like, "I hid a piece of bread in my pocket and took it" and shit like that. Just random guard conversations lol
Oh, ok :D
+salam iscrazi thx man you cleared my ideas a lot :D
He rescue his love interest and take the Koh-I-Noor at the end of the game.
Spoiler Alert!
Reminds me of the first Prince of Persia game!
I bet most people who don't like it haven't even played it
I would love to have this on my 3ds. But for the ps4.. really
can someone tell me when is release date for The Last Maharaja and The Dreadful Crimes?
nice graphics to play its india its cool
looks better than i thought doesnt feel like assassins creed tho
I like the music by the Guitar
in my pinion syndicate was shit but the chronicles series is very cool
the combat system is really nice and better than syndicate unity black flag or assassins creed 3 i will buy chronicles india but i won't buy empire i will borough it from a friend

+Scott Barcomb I totally agree.
Instead of get AC China as a full game,we got a platformer, now india, and one of the best;Russia.
is it for cell phone?
The game looks good but the gaurds have lines of sight in other ac games the gaurds could see u a mile away!
2D 3D 4D games are fun to play except the D of GTA and GTA 2
I'm waiting for the vita version
More!
On what platform is this played?
Looking at the controlls it looks like its PS4
It is PS4
holy sht, have to know what's the protagonist's name.
Is the protagonist the guy from Syndicate?
I don't think so. The Indian guy in Syndicate is called Henry Green. I think this Assassin is called Arbaaz.
Oh... so it is the guy from the comics. Thanks
the real name of Henry Green is Jayadeep Mir. This is Arbaaz Mir, his father.
That punjab though....lolololxd
Just because its 2d dosent automatically make the game horrible. Ya'll remember Unity? That was 3d and its was a pile of shit.
syndicate was worse
+Justin Schick how was syndicate worse than unity to do you just hate the setting?
+Darth Vita Personally i don,t think the game is bad but im just fucking pissed at the fact that they wasted this setting on 2.5d platformer.
+TheStickyDynamite shao jun, arbaaz mir and nikolai orelov haven't got a good story for making a big game
Looks like it can be for android
why is it so shity where's the graphics i will only buy if its going cost 10 bucks
Because if a game has bad graphics it is immediately bad. You Sheep. Chronicles China was very interesting and fun, but it didn't look nice so it was horrid.
Damphampster I didn't buy a ps4 for no reason if I wanted to play a game that looks like that I would of have bought a ps2
+Nick DeLeon274 a ps2 is in no way capable of these graphics. Stop being so close minded
+Nick DeLeon274 You bought a ps4 just for the graphix? lololol
+Koby Ball Exactly. Judging a game by its graphics is totally wrong. Gameplay was, is and always will be more important in a game than graphics. Nobody wants a good looking game which is boring and empty.
Wan't AC chronicles so bad all of 'em actually all assassin's creed games, fvckin 32 bit pc.
hahaa that punjabi is funny
oh really its punjab
punjabi language
When are we the eighties? Stop making 2d or 2.5 (ha-ha funny try) games, that shit is for IPhone and Android only, stop wasting good ideas
Seriously a stupid side scroller, my hope for this game have gone bad. I actually thought this was going to be cool.
It is cool. AC fans beg and beg and beg for original ideas and when they get one they complain about it. This game is awesome.
+Slartibartifast Overdrive Welcome to gaming community
Manoel Eduardo Araujo I hate hypocrites. The graphics is so bad
!!the most lame game of Ubisoft
so boring!
Not when you're playing it isn't.
The graphics is so bad
