The radically-different storylines of Crystalien Conflict's Mars Mission and LEGO Battles' Mars Mission is what leads me to believe that there were two Mars Missions, though the second one was not intentional. In the first Mars Mission, Astros and Crystaliens purposely go to Mars and wage war against one another. In the second Mars Mission, both groups are heading towards a different destination (Saturn and, most likely, the Crystalien home planet) when they crash-land on Mars and clash again.

I always remember hating the space police captain as a kid. In the cutscene I was like “you jerk! Why’d you make that guy dizzy and why’d you turn off the robot, you’re an a$$hole”
I have the biggest regret giving away my ds I now really want to play the game even though I'm 13 nentendo ds are really cheap now there are like 50 - 70 dollars
It's the same as with Space Police 3: A bunch of (exclusively human) heroes fights against alien bad guys. The problem with Mars Mission, however, is that the green crystals, humans and aliens are fighting over, were found on the aliens' planet, so that, regardless of how evil and vicious those aliens are, the crystals are rightfully theirs. What does that make mankind? A bunch of greedy invaders. Still, this is in no way elaborated upon by the story.
Really? From what it looks like the planet Mars is unhabited and the aliens that are there are stranded and are trying to get back home which is clearly NOT Mars
Prove it! What makes the aliens more evil than the humans in this scenario? I believe, nowadays we judge people by their actions, ratehr than their genes.
Hahahaha. Now go ahead and replace "crystals" with "oil", and "aliens" with "Arabs" and see what that sounds like. Besides, the humans take Aliens prisoner in order to conduct research on them in their main base and shoot them through those neon-orange pipes. That's not exactly a heroic thing to do.
