I have seen many other interviews given by Dr Dima Nagao but in none of them was he so relaxed speaking without any reservations like this. From what he says about the intention of the Emperor for reform, one can clearly see the positive intentions of the monarch while his aids were a massive obstacle to the badly needed reform. Besides that the Emperor was incapacitated by his age and unable to get on top of things with decisive actions. In light of this there's a gross unfairness towards him in getting rid of him so mercilessly.
It is very informative personal account from the originators of OLF. He looks familiar face not the evil face of OLF that we were told about. Why not write a book, this is why we never learn.
