- the last one was so popular i figured, why not make a deltarune one?
to be honest, i like most deltarune ships. shipping in the deltarune fandom is not nearly as bad as in the undertale fandom, so it was a bit trickier to get a balance of good and bad ships here.
and im a little sad i didnt get to include my favorite ship, krerdly, but i figured jeam and suselle were more important to approve lol
anyway, i hope you enjoyed!

personally i think seam and jevil is a good ship, and very likely canon, but if you dont agree that is fine

Kris and Susie have a lot of chemistry and it’s because of Kris’ actions that Susie can actually develop as a character from rude, brute, bully to lovable doofus.
I mean she’s still rude and a brute but now she’s got something positive two direct it at (protecting her friends :D)
@@june9914 She is *incredibly* protective of her friends, and she and Kris have excellent chemistry. Kris saved her during Chaos King, and in turn she's stood up for them even in the Light World near the bunker in CH 2
Suselle is probably going to have potency in-lore, but I'm rooting for Krusie. Though what would be *really* cool is to have your actions sway whom is paired with whom. That's ideal not only so you can see your favorite videogame characters kiss but also so Toby can twist it via the metanarrative into being just *so* incredibly fucked >:D

I’ll be honest, I’m iffy on Noelle x Susie. Yes, it does seem to be canon, but to me, it’s just Undyne x Alphys again. Think about it. You have the strong, brash girl who yells a lot and isn’t too bright; the shy girl who has trouble expressing herself due to insecurities; and the relationship amounts to the shy one loving the strong one from a distance but being unable to confess for the longest time and the strong one kind of having feelings towards the shy one but being a little too dull to properly express herself. Granted, Undyne was more sure of herself and could express her feelings, but it’s implied that she couldn’t for the longest time until Frisk showed up. Heck, Noelle and Alphys even have yellow and white color schemes. Even if Noelle x Susie become a cute couple, I won’t be able to see them as their own thing when they’re too similar to Undyne x Alphys.
in my opinion, theres a lot more to susie and noelle than the shy girl and buff girl trope. noelle has a lot more depth to her than the "uwu shy girl," and has a whole different personality than alphys. shes actually pretty confident, especially in the dark world, and dares herself to do things that she finds scary. as for susie, i think that she to is a lot different than undyne. theres a lot of evidence that point to her having a bad home life, and even trauma, which noelle also has, so if the two end up together they may be able to balance out each others traumas and help each other out in a relationship. idk, its hard for me to put into words, but i think theyd make a good couple. and it isnt toby fox's style to just do the same thing over again: maybe it is like alphyne in some ways, but i think suselle is its on its own for the most part
@@metta_toes That’s fair, but Alphys also had trauma due to her own failures with Determination. There are even implications that she almost killed herself. I’m sure they’re different on a deeper level, but initial impressions are hard to shake off.

I find Noelle x Susie kinda iffy. Not only does it rethread Undyne and Alphys in many aspects, unlike those two, noelle and susie never talked, not really. We know undyne and alphys hung out and know about eachother for a longer while, they watch anime and stuff, they know each other, is what i'm getting at.
Noelle however is so head over heels mad in love with susie who she does not know at all, it feels like she kinda made an unreasonable standard of who susie is that she fell in love with, something that susie just isn't. It feels a bit parasocial and creepy, gives me a feeling this should not work out.

@HBegaming YT I think it could make for some interesting interactions of Noelle getting to know Susie and realising it's not what she thought she's getting into. I'd still prefer a different character dynamic overall rather than the same archetype as Undyne x Alphys (i think it would be a lot more engaging to explore, idk maybe a kris X noelle dynamic, considering the implications it could be really interesting and would let us explore Kris's character far deeper/quicker) but Susie x Noelle can work. Still don't like how boring and repetetive it gets for noelle's character in chapters 1 and 2 though since she keeps repeating the same type of obsessive talking about susie with no major twist. I hope it gets better later, but it's still valid criticism i think.
I don't like Noelle x Susie and I love Kris x Susie knowing god damn well it won't be cannon, anyways I hate Suselle because of these facts: Kris knows a lot more about Susie, and Susie about Kris, they have a nice and basically healthy relationship, Kris kinda admitted he liked Susie a lot (In a friendly way (in that scene where Ralsei hugs Kris, and then he says he wants a hug from Susie)) while Noelle... Ehh, it's pretty much a crush, Noelle get "excited" over Susie's _bad_ behaviours, that leads to a _bad relationship_ , After all, I do believe Susie is much more likely to reject Noelle (If Noelle gets the confidence to tell her stuff to Susie obviously), Susie just want to make friends and have fun.
I’m ace, but even I know that it’s common for people to have physical or aesthetic-based crushes, then use that as a springboard to get to know the other better, and start a relationship… 😅 And while that’s certainly not the way *I’d* go about it, it’s certainly a *valid* way to go about it. And since it’s a video game where everything can be molded to the creators’ will, I think they will probably end up working well together (as people).
@@ForestsAndSunsets You know I thought about it harder over time and I can mostly agree with what you say. Still don't like the ship, personally, even if they'll most likely work out, mostly due to the character dynamic being essentially very similar to undyne and alphys whom were handled better in undertale i feel (and they're in deltarune too lol). Noelle's crush as of chapter 2 got pretty boring to see quick, but that's probably because I am interested in every other aspect of noelle except that with her very important plot connotations.

That can be proved by Susie's tea effect on Kris (which is higher than Ralsei's or Noelle's tea) or the choice of with whom to go on festival in the end of the chapter 2. Despite player's choices he will either be silent, but look at susie or choose her.

As a kris X Susie shipper I feel the need to defend it. Susie x noelle is to one sided and it doesn't seem susie really reciprocates. Also it feels like noelle idolizes a susie she made in her head instead of the real her. Kris also seems to like susie the most out of all the party members judging by the tea and how often kris show a liking to her. Like when susie asked who they'd take to the festival the answer that doesn't give a "weird" face is picking susie. It also seem like susie has a mutual feeling for kris. Also in the cyber city rooms there are horns. If you go back there with a party susie seems to try and flirt with kris saying " do you think if I blast fire in this horn thing will someone feel it on the other side" she says this with a sincere look on her face. If that's not a flirt I'm not sure what it is.

I think my least favorite Deltarune ship of the ones that aren’t absolutely atrocious is Kris x Ralsei. I get why It’s popular since it’s something that can happen in the game, but the reason why I hate this ship so much is because of the theory that the player basically hijacked Kris’s body and is controlling them like a puppet. For all we know, Kris could actually hate Ralsei but the player forces them to be nice to him, which could make the ship pretty fucked up in my option.
My favorite deltarune ship by far, with IMO a lot of in game chemistry, is ralsusie. Yet you didn't include it, so I'm disappointed.

According to Tea Theory, Kris likes Susie the most since her tea heals them the most and additionally, while they drink the tea, they keep looking at Susie and Ralsei says "they seem into it".
At the end of the Spamton NEO fight, if Kris tell Susie they're ok, Ralsei offers Kris his scarf, but they decline and say they want to wear Susie's jacket. If you hugged Ralsei during the acid tunnel ride, Ralsei will hug Kris after the fight, and they will ask Susie for a hug too. Of course, Susie gets flustered and declines both of these requests.
During the sleepover at Kris' house, Susie asks them who they would bring to the upcoming festival, Ralsei or Noelle. If you pick either of those options, Kris will say them in a confused voice. This doesn't happen if you pick Susie, suggesting that's the option Kris would've pick if they were in control.
It's also possible that Kris has been investigating Susie for a little while. During the Susie & Lancer fight, Kris can flirt with Susie. One of the things Kris can do with this is offer Susie a basket of worms, which does distract Susie... until she realizes Kris doesn't have a basket or worms. How does Kris already know about the fact that Susie's willing to eat just about anything? Well, they might have seen her digging around for worms or something like that.

Krusie doesn't get in the way of any canon romantic path. Susie doesn't like Noelle, get that through your thick skulls.
She literally has no qualms about hurting her if Kris orders her to, as seen in the festival thing on the Dark World.
And Kris, when asked who would they like to go with at the Festival in the light world by Susie, they will answer with a weird face if he answers with ANYTHING other than Susie.
It's dishonest to think that Suselle it's canon, and misinformation to spread that around like it is.
Not to mention that Krusie it's a better ship, Kris actually knows Susie, and they both actually spend time together. Kris has more wholesome motives to see Susie romantically.
