You have the strong, brash girl who yells a lot and isn’t too bright; the shy girl who has trouble expressing herself due to insecurities; and the relationship amounts to the shy one loving the strong one from a distance but being unable to confess for the longest time and the strong one kind of having feelings towards the shy one but being a little too dull to properly express herself. Granted, Undyne was more sure of herself and could express her feelings, but it’s implied that she couldn’t for the longest time until Frisk showed up. Heck, Noelle and Alphys even have yellow and white color schemes. Even if Noelle x Susie become a cute couple, I won’t be able to see them as their own thing when they’re too similar to Undyne x Alphys.
in my opinion, theres a lot more to susie and noelle than the shy girl and buff girl trope. noelle has a lot more depth to her than the "uwu shy girl," and has a whole different personality than alphys. shes actually pretty confident, especially in the dark world, and dares herself to do things that she finds scary. as for susie, i think that she to is a lot different than undyne. theres a lot of evidence that point to her having a bad home life, and even trauma, which noelle also has, so if the two end up together they may be able to balance out each others traumas and help each other out in a relationship. idk, its hard for me to put into words, but i think theyd make a good couple. and it isnt toby fox's style to just do the same thing over again: maybe it is like alphyne in some ways, but i think suselle is its on its own for the most part

I find Noelle x Susie kinda iffy. Not only does it rethread Undyne and Alphys in many aspects, unlike those two, noelle and susie never talked, not really. We know undyne and alphys hung out and know about eachother for a longer while, they watch anime and stuff, they know each other, is what i'm getting at. Noelle however is so head over heels mad in love with susie who she does not know at all, it feels like she kinda made an unreasonable standard of who susie is that she fell in love with, something that susie just isn't. It feels a bit parasocial and creepy, gives me a feeling this should not work out.
@HBegaming YT I think it could make for some interesting interactions of Noelle getting to know Susie and realising it's not what she thought she's getting into. I'd still prefer a different character dynamic overall rather than the same archetype as Undyne x Alphys (i think it would be a lot more engaging to explore, idk maybe a kris X noelle dynamic, considering the implications it could be really interesting and would let us explore Kris's character far deeper/quicker) but Susie x Noelle can work. Still don't like how boring and repetetive it gets for noelle's character in chapters 1 and 2 though since she keeps repeating the same type of obsessive talking about susie with no major twist. I hope it gets better later, but it's still valid criticism i think.

And since it’s a video game where everything can be molded to the creators’ will, I think they will probably end up working well together (as people).

Repost As a kris X Susie shipper I feel the need to defend it. Susie x noelle is to one sided and it doesn't seem susie really reciprocates. Also it feels like noelle idolizes a susie she made in her head instead of the real her. Kris also seems to like susie the most out of all the party members judging by the tea and how often kris show a liking to her. Like when susie asked who they'd take to the festival the answer that doesn't give a "weird" face is picking susie. It also seem like susie has a mutual feeling for kris. Also in the cyber city rooms there are horns. If you go back there with a party susie seems to try and flirt with kris saying " do you think if I blast fire in this horn thing will someone feel it on the other side" she says this with a sincere look on her face. If that's not a flirt I'm not sure what it is.

I think my least favorite Deltarune ship of the ones that aren’t absolutely atrocious is Kris x Ralsei. I get why It’s popular since it’s something that can happen in the game, but the reason why I hate this ship so much is because of the theory that the player basically hijacked Kris’s body and is controlling them like a puppet. For all we know, Kris could actually hate Ralsei but the player forces them to be nice to him, which could make the ship pretty fucked up in my option.

And Kris, when asked who would they like to go with at the Festival in the light world by Susie, they will answer with a weird face if he answers with ANYTHING other than Susie. It's dishonest to think that Suselle it's canon, and misinformation to spread that around like it is. Not to mention that Krusie it's a better ship, Kris actually knows Susie, and they both actually spend time together. Kris has more wholesome motives to see Susie romantically.

There is more context to the ship tho, with Asgore sending Rudolph flowers and Rudolph calling Asgore a fruit. Plus there is the whole thing with the scraped app that toby was making where it was confirmed by Asgore, that Rudy got sick and died before the events of Undertale. Throughout Asgores dialogue he was talking about how close they both were and that during Christmas they would dress up as Santa and Rudolph and Asgore said something like "He was my Rudolph and I was his Santa" with a sad face. There was a bunch of depressing stuff in these dialogues.

yeah Susie does look a bit awkward when Noelle is around but she seems genuinely at least a little interested in getting to know Noelle considering she asks if Noelle dreams about her frequently and gets embarassed when Noelle notices her tail (of course this interest could just be her seeing Noelle as a friend but i do believe their relationship will be more expanded on in future chapters)
and i don't see when she looks annoyed when Noelle is around either, she's been either completely neutral or awkward around her, which i've already explained in the other paragraph

As a kris X Susie shipper I feel the need to defend it. Susie x noelle is to one sided and it doesn't seem susie really reciprocates. Also it feels like noelle idolizes a susie she made in her head instead of the real her. Kris also seems to like susie the most out of all the party members judging by the tea and how often kris show a liking to her. Like when susie asked who they'd take to the festival the answer that doesn't give a "weird" face is picking susie. It also seem like susie has a mutual feeling for kris. Also in the cyber city rooms there are horns. If you go back there with a party susie seems to try and flirt with kris saying " do you think if I blast fire in this horn thing will someone feel it on the other side" she says this with a sincere look on her face. If that's not a flirt I'm not sure what it is.

I think my least favorite Deltarune ship of the ones that aren’t absolutely atrocious is Kris x Ralsei. I get why It’s popular since it’s something that can happen in the game, but the reason why I hate this ship so much is because of the theory that the player basically hijacked Kris’s body and is controlling them like a puppet. For all we know, Kris could actually hate Ralsei but the player forces them to be nice to him, which could make the ship pretty fucked up in my option.

She literally has no qualms about hurting her if Kris orders her to, as seen in the festival thing on the Dark World.
And Kris, when asked who would they like to go with at the Festival in the light world by Susie, they will answer with a weird face if he answers with ANYTHING other than Susie.
It's dishonest to think that Suselle it's canon, and misinformation to spread that around like it is.
Not to mention that Krusie it's a better ship, Kris actually knows Susie, and they both actually spend time together. Kris has more wholesome motives to see Susie romantically.

I think the Asgore and Noelle’s dad (idk his name) should be a more cursed ship in my opinion, lol. Odd how you didn’t put in the Chaos King and Rouxls Kaard one, but I think that’s cursed enough.
There is more context to the ship tho, with Asgore sending Rudolph flowers and Rudolph calling Asgore a fruit.
Plus there is the whole thing with the scraped app that toby was making where it was confirmed by Asgore, that Rudy got sick and died before the events of Undertale. Throughout Asgores dialogue he was talking about how close they both were and that during Christmas they would dress up as Santa and Rudolph and Asgore said something like "He was my Rudolph and I was his Santa" with a sad face.
There was a bunch of depressing stuff in these dialogues.
