From immortal horror monster to Disney villain. As much as I think Fnaf lore went a bit too over-complicated for its own good, stuff like this does help me understand why people love it so much. Having so many little things happening behind the scenes has always been a strong point for the series.
“Too complicated for it’s own good” why does that sound oh so much like ALL OF HUMANITY AND ITS VARIOUS ASPECTS?! Seriously you tell me if you can simplify human beings to something you desire. That’s how I see your comment. It sounds like you underestimate how complicated humans are, there is very few ways to make a simple human character who is NOT boring. All good human characters are complex, even the fictional murderers. Now tell me, can you say FNAF lore truly is ‘too complicated for its own good’?
@Macayla Cayton What I meant was it started off as a cool creepy murder mystery, with some slightly paranormal stuff, but then it went all over the place. By Security Breach Afton is a fucking undead zombie robot... thing... who who brought himself back to life through a goddamn vr game (after literally dying and being sent to hell in UCN) who somehow gained the power to possess machinery by touching a screen. While simultaneously controlling Vanessa. The only reason I even know half of that is from fan content since some of the later games don't do a very good job of explaining it. You literally have to go through a set of books just to get the full story. Which becomes a problem when they feel the need to add more to every game. It was fairly subdued at first, but it became more absurd with every game, and I just find it hard to take it seriously.
@@CeHee123 couldn’t you say human history is exactly what you described? What’s the big deal with it being the way it is anyway? I don’t mind it, it’s like human history and sorting THAT out, which is not easy. Several parties both indirectly related and directly related, all the events that led to events from various countries for various reasons. Can you tell me FNAF lore is not like that as well?

@@macaylacayton2915 Where did all of this argument over human history come from? FNAF lore mutated from a lightly supernatural murder mystery about a child killer stalking about an old pizzeria to a confusing sci-fi ghost fantasy about zombie cyborgs and sentient ghost viruses.

This song is so good ans honestly if we fought William Afton in Fnaf world or one of the other wierd spin offs like Freddy in space I could totally see an instrumental version of this theme being the boss music. This song is so perfect.

The lore of fnaf is just so complicated. I wish it would go back to its roots of being a story about a murderer killing kids. That part is so chilling because that could actually happen and we would not know. But now William is a meme. I wish it could just retcon all that remnant stuff and him always coming back. Its best when the story is rooted in a realistic premise like a murderer luring little kids and killing them. I feel like you get the best experience from fnaf 1-4. After the fourth game it went from a game about a murderer killing kids with some supernatural elements like how the animatronics became sentient to something about William trying to achieve immortality and by security breach it just becomes too unrealistic
Sister location was going to be a great game but Scott made it only lore which sucked
I think the story would be just fine if it was 1-6 + UCN.
The problem started with SL, if it was 1-4, 6 and ucn it would've been fine
the line "cut them down to forge forever, we'll ignite with lifelines severed" just sounds so... intimidating

This is probably the most horrifying thing I’ve found… the fact that you managed to break my mind is beyond comprehension, and enforcing my previous wave of insanity is even more disturbing.
TLDR: despite the name, maybe it SHOULD BE okay to break down every once in a while! Nothing should ever be eternal, since that just makes immortality all the creepier.
