Absolutely. At the very least top 3. But he’s definitely the goat basketball player ever.

He’s by far the most competitive athlete ever. No other player has come close. He was a complete maniac.

I guess messi or ronaldo would probably be the greatest but he’s definitely there for sure

Jordan really is an inspiration for me, I’ll never make the NBA I started loving basketball late in life and it was never realistic but Jordan’s competitive and kill anyone in your way, never let losing and obstacles get to him and used it as a fuel to his fire, people say don’t care about what others think” “you don’t have to prove yourself to win” but the reality is most people do care about that stuff and it does drive people to get better but most importantly Jordan just wanted to be the best he could and he’s one of the few people who you can actually look at his career and say he didn’t just spew that shit to the public to be “motivational” he legitimately lived by that stuff, it’s all stuff you can apply to real life in anything you dream off, forget basketball, it might sound silly but he’s really my biggest inspiration and every time I feel my back is against the wall or I can’t give anymore I think back to “what would Jordan do and say?” And it always unlocks things from me that I didn’t know I could do.

I hate to break this to you, He seemed like a god because the competition is horrendous. To name a few of his flaws are his three point shooting and his playmaking ability. I’m not saying he won’t be successful in today’s era because I know for a fact he would average 30 ppg, since he was a gifted scorer and a great on-ball defender, but he won’t be as untouchable as he’s once had throughout the 90’s.

@@sonder.4718You have no idea what you're talking about. Jordan was the master of switching up his game, adjusting to circumstances, and he could play angry. Like Hulk, he'd just get angrier and more dominant. He existed in the clutch. This was in the era of hip checking and crowding players, unlike today.
He would have way more competition today for sure, but he'd still be the most polished and well-rounded athlete. His agility alone would've twisted ankles of today's players.

@@MadLadsAnonymous Right I have no idea? Kindly use some brain cells to comprehend my comment. Based on your statement, I’m assuming, you’re one of the old heads that’s stuck in the past. Just simply let go of your ego and nostalgia, then move on with your life.

Once every few years I watch some old games when he was a rookie, until he had his first retirement, amd it is crystal clear, his speed, jumping, shooting ability, creativity, defensive ability, and EFFORT, are all maxed out, this is the one time in sports where the person with all the physical abilities and genetic potential, meets a work ethic and drive like a Rocky Marciano, one with 0 physical gifts, but 100 percent effort and dedication that alone took Rocky to the top, now Jordan was able to do whatever he really wanted, win whenever he wanted and it's clear watching him play first 3 championships he was the most, the best, and the guy driven more then anyone we have yet to see. Kobe was equal, but Michael may have been more physically gifted. Too close for me to call
