In Romania, the black and grey models cost the same. Maybe you got ripped off by the distributor you bought it from? Also you didn't say anything about that sound quality and the other features this thing has. You just talked mostly about small, trivial things that are related to the USB features. I don't think that people are buying minisystems like these to play music from USB's, there's a good reason why this thing has DAB+ audio, bluetooth compatibility and a very good CD player. To use myself as an example, I wanted to buy a minisystem like this one because I wanted to hook up several other devices like my smartphone, laptop, vinyl player to it so that the forms of media played from said devices (mainly music) be played in a very good quality thanks to the minisystem. And also play CD's that I've inherited from my dad. This review is lackluster because you made a very simple overview and then complained about your freaking USB and menu navigation problems instead of demonstrating the million other features it has. Now I'm not saying that your points brought in the video are meaningless, I do understand that menu navigation can be a pain in the ass but this video lacks value because I personally don't think it helped anyone who watched it make the definitive choice of whether or not to buy this damn thing, judging by the comment section.
Thanks a lot for the review. This seems to be among the best home audio systems (for what I need), and yet it still has issues: mostly user interface. I'm appalled at how crappy these systems are today. Most still only have SEVEN SEGMENT displays like it's 1985. This one at least has dot-matrix, but separate per-character (kind of old). And the UI experience: searching folders, skipping tracks (don't even dream of seeing the album cover). My car audio system is much better than all home systems I can find. Sorry for the rant.
Some Countries are more expencive than others. So i don't really know if it would be a good price for Chile. But here in Germany i wouldn't buy it for 500€.
I understand critic points, but I didn't hear about the quality of sound. Id like to hear some more details about sound, DAB radio, and whether it fits well for small room around 15 m2 area.
It sounds good enough. There are some limitations due to the size of the speakers, the basses sound ok, maybe not the best of the market (because of the price and size), but the quality in general is good.
I own this product and the quality is good, maybe not the best of the market because of the size and price, but it is a good product with good quality sound.
I have two questions. On the one hand, do you think this device has the best price-performance ratio? The second is does the device have a radio function? Thanks for the help
I don't know all the micro stereo system out there so i don't know if this would have the best price-performance ratio. Sorry. Yes it has a radio function because it has a connection for dab and fm.
@@freund333 but can you use it for something else then? cause I suppose you can connect other devices, like a laptop or a vinyl record pickup to it and use it like a receiver to make it play the sound from those devices
@@thejollydude1907 Well... Some of them come with a lad connected to usb port. You can hear constant rambling about anything else than sound quality. xD

I think exactly the same. He ask himself why this, why that, rather than focus on sound quality.
@@hadeseye2297 well, its a yamaha product so I guess sound quality wouldn't be an issue but still
In my country (Chile) it is the same: the silver and black versions cost the same.
@@Donetur at the end of the day, say after 4 years of selling there are more black in storage house so they cut the price on them not on the silver
so - yes I ve seen different pricing on black vs silver many times, but not on the first day of market presence

Is there any random playback on usb? Thanks.
HI. But so the only difference between the 270 and the 370 is the finishing of the cases and that's it??? Watts have nothing to do with it?
No Watts have nothing to do with it.
Thank you for this review. In Chile thids device costs 500 euros. Would you buy it at that price?

Helpful, thank you.
Hi. What if the cost of the black one was 150 EUR? Would you find such offer attactive?
What about the sound quality???

can i connect my tv ??
If your TV has Bluetooth transmission, yes.
270 doesn't have timer
Hi, do you recommend it for the CD sound?
The sound quality is good. But it's way to expensive if you just want to listen to some CDs.
