    • @RoIIingStoned

      @@PunmasterSTP not good. I took ochem, physics, calculus, and speech at the same time. I’m sure some people can do that but I’m lazy. Someone convinced me to hurry my curriculum up. I would suggest taking it slow and getting good grades

    I get to exam time and struggle for a bit before finding a leah4sci to explain the difficult concepts to me like I'm a human being instead of a robot. I have had such a hard time getting professors to explain things like I do not have a phd in chemistry. Like I understand you look at that thing and just know what is what, but I don't feel like I should have to go out of my way to get an explanation of which carbon is which during class. my goodness, thank you. If I ever get into medschool I'm sending you a card.

    Leah, you've helped me so much over the last year. Today is the day before the final in ochemII. I was really nervous and was in my professors office today talking about how worried I was. I came home to do my homework and was still so confused. But this video just calmed me down so much. Thank you for the amazing lesson. I never comment but I just really wanted to say thank you! I really appreciate how much work you put in to your channel and website. You are my favorite online Ochem tutor! The way you explain things is always on my level. Thank you a million times.

      Though I'm no longer in ochem and I'm only watching these videos as a review, I feel much the same way about Leah! I know it's been years, but I had come across your comment and became curious. If I might ask, how did your final go?

    Hello! Thank you for you very informative videos, I love them! I am a little lost @7:49, why did you attach a hydrogen to the oxygen?

    • @eroschirurgi5456
      @eroschirurgi5456 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Additionally, why did you break the double bond between C3 & the oxygen group of the dienophile but carried it over into the reaction with the double bond at b?

    • @Leah4sci
      @Leah4sci  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not attach a hydrogen to the oxygen atom. Rather, I drew in the hydrogen of the aldehyde as it is understood to be connected to the carbonyl carbon. 7:14, how can you just switch the strans diene to s cis?

    • @Leah4sci
      @Leah4sci  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you add heat into a system, you provide enough energy for the molecule to adopt less than favorable conditions including temporarily breaking pi bonds / resonance. During this time the diene can reform into s-cis or s-trans

      first of all, she has a lot of knowledge. Obviously. Secondly, what if she learned by some off chance by experimentation? Then her credentials would be the same for those who in earlier years came up with some kind of class or course, taught by some knowledgeable person, (Today's professor) about Chemistry ! One does not have to have some kind of degree in "any" subject to teach it. These are just tutorial courses moron !!
