    I’ve been running them with Continental 5000 for 6 months, they roll beautiful and comfortable. No flats also! That’s all I used for inner tubes the Ridenow tubes. Two thumbs up 👍

    Keen to try these, have read comments on utube about the seams breaking and the tubes exploding 🙈

      Never had that but had quite a few fail on the valve area where it joins. Bit annoying. But they really do change the ride feel in a good way

    installed the 36g version yesterday on my secondary bike. I found it a bit tricky on my 25mm in the front and was very careful putting the tire (continental GP 5000) back on. The 28mm tire in the back was way easier as the tube has more space. Let's see how they will feel, perform and hopefully last.

    I'm still slightly nervous. However, I did my first ride (55 miles) yesterday with a 24g in the front, and my usual butyl on the rear and it went fine. I'm gonna put a 36g on the rear, as it's the rear that gets all the snake bites and punctures. I also bought 'Race Formula' 28g TPU tubes that come in blue boxes from Ali express. I replaced the front ridenow tube with one, it was easier to install than the ridenow and seemed to fit better, however I've yet to ride on it.

      How have the race formula tubes been?

    • @cyclingSausage
      @cyclingSausage 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@michaeld9108 No issues with it thus far. I got my first puncture using the TPU on the back. There was a hole on the inside of the tube so I'm not sure what happened there. I'm guessing a bit of grit or debris or something must've made it's way in there. I'll keep the race formula in until it punctures but I'm gonna go back to butyl. I know where I am with butyl, and I don't race so speeds not as important as it used to be.

      Thanks for the reply. I don't race either; it's the much smaller packing size that appeals to me. I just worry about the reliability/quality with these things not being the "big brands" we're used to in the West.

    Really important, make sure to get the ones with white valve stems! I prefer the ones that are 36 g. Slightly heavier but bulletproof.

    I want to use TPU inner tubes on my gravel, but the streets in my city are very poorly made and tend to have a lot of broken glass.
    Your comment on the gcn tech video brought me here, great video from you by the way.

      On a gravel bike I would probably go tubeless as the pressures are a lot lower. But for carrying spares these tpu tubes are amazing as they don’t weigh anything 👍

      None, but it did take a few rides to set air pressure which was about 8psi lower, but I do like how they feel in the corners, ride quality I find is the same. I use Vittoria Corsa. I have rim brake, I do not think I would run the 24g in rim Brake, disc only.@@thediabeticcyclist4936

      Surprised that you feel they ride harsher than butyl. My experience is in line with and all other reviews and comments saying that they feel supple like latex.

    Interesting i was under the impression Cyclami were a separate brand altogether. Not had a great lot of success with my batch. One had a microscopic hole in pre installation . and the second was probably my fault using a tyre lever in conjunction with a new tyre, Let me know your findings

    I have had pretty good luck so far with the RideNow tubes. I have the 36g ones. The pump sometimes doesn't connect or disconnect as good but not a deal breaker. What's up with that hanging light? Thanks for the video.

      Have you followed the installation steps? By first inflating with 0.2 bar pressure (checking for leaks), and putting the valve halfway into the rim, only inflating them fully after massaging the tube in place? I have ordered a few last week...
