I love this dedication to the subject. The speaker is explaining everything very well and you see he's a fan of the show. Nice to see this as a part of an instution as the British Museum. 👏
Glad you liked it. Very much a labour of love. Also Henry is surprisingly good at being 14 different people with distinct acting styles. If he wasn't so good at curating, I'd say he was wasting his talents.

Well done! When I visit the museum again this exhibit will be on my list, along with more serious exhibits. Including modern cultural topics is important in order expose younger generations to what any museum has to offer. I have always enjoyed museum visits from childhood visits when I was in school to present day. Thank you for your time and talent to present this bit of modern television history.
I'm convinced! Henry Flynn needs to take a leave of absence from the museum to become the next Doctor! Send this tape ASAP to the Doctor Who production team at the BBC! They will be blown away and hire him for the part immediately! (Perhaps they will also hire Nick as the Doctor's new Companion.)
Even the credits were needlessly fun here - I mean, I can't tell whether I liked Henry Flynn best or _Henry Flynn_ better. It was always a toss-up between those two for me, lol (^-^) You didn't have to do any of this stuff, but this was such a joy of a video because you did all this work just to talk about a nice little prop. Just like they spent the time to put in some extra care & attention, it's very cool to see the Museum staffers put the extra time and care into this video.
Thank you so much for this comment. This was an incredibly hard video to make due to the frequent and long lockdowns, making filming practically impossible for most of the year. We just wanted to make something to put a smile on someone's face over the holiday season. Sounds like that person was you. Thanks for taking the time, and look after yourself.
Hmm... thats odd. John Oliver gave up his cushiony HBO gig to join the British Museum? Well, it must be doing him some good. He looks so much younger! xD

The cuneiform-like text at the end is from the Capaldi episode "Mummy on The Orient Express". I haven't seen it for ages, so I can't tell you what it's for. I might have to do a long overdue rewatch.
Great bit of information loved this. Possibly the best Catherine Tate impersonation to date. Out of curiosity what was the story behind the 20 Pound note that was seen in this video?
Very valid question. With everything going on in this video, it didn't fit. Also Phil Collinson very much deserves his own video (particularly given he's note ISN'T on display) - so there will be a Curator's Corner+ (so mini-episode) just on this in a few days. Scheduling is hard to work out due to Christmas, but it will be soon!
Love these curators corners! I will never get to the British museum, I cannot sit on a plane for that long, I hate boats and it's to far to swim . Only option is the Tardis. 😎

I'm so used to seeing videos of people with totally unnecessary Rubik's cubes in the background, very refreshing to see a few TARDIS's & a token Dalek.
honestly how pure and wholesome can this museum get. I love them.
They can start by returning stolen artefacts
Ok, I've seen the whole video now and it's super cute. 🥰😄

Woah! Amazing! Many thanks. Next time I'm in London - I'll make a special trip to see the exhibit.
This has had far more effort, love and care expended on it than was strictly needed.
I'm talking about this video, not the banknote!
This entire entry is pure genius. Museum curators are the best!
That is why he is called, "The Curator."
You, Henry Flynn, are an absolute legend.
He is indeed.
I so enjoyed this. Another Henry Flynn BM popped up on my TH-cam and these 2 were so interesting that I’ve subscribed to the BM a site!
This is criminally underviewed.
Am I the only one, but I LOVED the The Doctor Who recreation. Bravo!
Charming. Bravo to the British Museum for having your staff do such involved and complicated videos, which amuse as well as inform.

Henry Flynn...you are a legend!!! 🌟
First thing that gives away this man's fandom is the way he grabs his lapels.
Did that in one take as well
I love the collections of TARDISes and the little Dalek. This video was THE BEST. I love the homage to all of the Doctors!
What a brilliant episode in the BM channel!!!

I don’t know how big the market is for Jon Oliver impersonators, but Curator Henry Flynn has that to fall back on if the museum work doesn’t pan out.

I’d guess they’re from Henry’s own personal collection
