    Bet that’s a pretty pricey demo kit! That was an excellent review. It looks to be a nicely engineered system.

    This stuff here is top notch quality. Its a but pricey but worth it. Been using it for quite a bit now. Use the site to see recommended tools for each type of a bit. Not all are meant for impact use although you can like the tct hole cutters

    I would have like to seen a rockwell hardness test on their carbide. How hard it is will tell you about if it's quality carbide or if they're trying to cheap out.

    • @martylucas8557
      @martylucas8557 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seriously...you really think a UK company that finally got distribution setup in the US is going to have some cheaply made products to sell here? I feel that most companies realize that the cheap Chinese junk tool space is pretty crowded.
      Did you even watch the demo or just throw out a comment? Because I saw that bit chew through that 1/4” + thick steel.

      1) good luck using a rockwell C scale machine on carbide. 2) Better quality carbide tools don't correlate with hardness. Achieving hardness is not the expensive endeavor. It's designing it complex enough in such a way as to not chip and fracture under stress. It's always going to be hard, not always going to be a design that's tough.

    I think for the 1/4 drive impact. It would be smarter to use the Milwaukee M12 1/4in impact and use the screw option to avoid those impacts. Being that you have a Milwaukee M12 hex impact

      It's a great review, but actually it's only the TCT Holesaw you want to minimise Impacts (we reccomend rotary drills for these). The other tooling is awesome when used with impact and is designed for that purpose!

      Thanks for your comment - we don't have our own powertools, these will work well in any professional powertool of appropriate torque/power. We have a full guide of do's and don'ts, best practice and a guide required RPM and Torque settings for each application available on the website

    is anyone else confused on what's the purpose of this, I mean its the same as carrying around adapters and drill bits in a fancy box. The only exception is that its a special bits so you got to buy their bits only. Also its much more bulkier. Curious to know how successful they are in the uk.

      Hi Fahim, thanks for the comment. The VersaDrive system is the world's first modular cutting and drilling system for use with both impact and rotary tools. It offers significantly more flexibility than other systems as tooling can be used with a range of drive tools. This ability to use a wide range of impact drive tools increases usability and speed for professional steel erectors and fabricators who would typically have impact tools on a job site and are now able to use one tool for bolt connection and hole creation. Without this option additional drive tools would be needed such as magnet drills, pillar drills or regular rotary drills. Having to take these to site and then stop and set them up is labour intensive and time consuming. The VersaDrive system on the other hand offers very quick, easy and safe hole creation with whichever drive tool you are already using for the job, speeding things up and saving time and money. I hope that helps with understanding the system. We find that professional metalworkers really benefit from the advantages of the system and in the UK the product range is incredibly popular.

    Wonder how much force he is actually using to get the bits to cut
    Be more impressed if he was drilling stainless and not putting force on the drill ( assuming the demo is bright mild )

    Looks like a high quality tool kit. But don’t see the market for them. Every a home gamer will have at minimum a impact and a drill. Or dropping a $1000 for the kit. Where a professional would already have every tool required plus more. Not saying it to expensive. And looks very quality. Best of luck to y’all in the United States though.

      The VersaDrive system is a game changer for the professional metalworker who uses a variety of different powertools to get their work done. VersaDrive provides complete flexibility of using any drilling tool in any power tool system, with unique benefits like being able to use in an Impact wrench. Thanks for your comment!
