Krejci and Debrusk I think should be S tier. Krejci is such a creative playmaker, makes everyone on the ice with him better. Debrusk has become the player we hoped he was when we drafted him, and that interview in the booth against the Flyer’s was excellent. Got a future in the booth like his dad.
Nice video. Only changes I'd make would be to bump Forbort down to A, Grizz down to B and probably put DeBrusk up in the S tier. He's been clutch as hell (Winter Classic anyone?) and fits in beautifully with 37 and 63.
Great video. I agree with most of your choices, but I would definitely put Krejci in the S tier. Without him, there would be a huge hole - I mean a gaping abyss - at the 2C spot. And he gives tremendous depth to the PP. Add to that his calm leadership, his experience and his ability to completely change the pace of a play in a fraction of a second. And I think he is no stranger to Pastrnak and Zacha's success. And all that for a mere 1M$!!!!! You won't find a player who can do all that for only 1M$ anywhere. S tier without a doubt as far as I'm concerned.

Forbort has definitely been the unsung hero for the back end. This guy is absolutely nails on the PK, he isn't afraid to muck it up in the corner and in front of the net
In the week since this video came out the Bs have picked up a few more wins and guys are playing even better Grzelyck scored in back to back games and swayman got a couple wins including a shutout. Absolutely monstrous team where every single player is capable of being the key guy that gets us the win
I’d move Jake Debrusk up to S tier and move Charlie Macavoy down to B because I’d like to see him score a bit more and turn it over a bit less but otherwise still a great year for him. Great list overall though and it’s great to see their isn’t one bad player on this team other than Pavel Zacha on empty netters lol.
I'll take a few missed empty netters compared to what we saw last season. I don't remember how long it was but we went forever without scoring an empty netter.
I was ready to comment on people underrating Forbort but you nailed it! We're a fanbase that recognizes quality defenseman, be they offensive or defensive, and we're so lucky with our current group of guys. I think I heard some figure on the broadcast about how the Bruins PK was middle of the pack at 70-something % without Forbort and 92% with him on the ice. Really nice to see him come into his own this year.
Frederic has become my favorite player on this tea, simply because of his grit and growth. He's great when he drops the mitts but is also becoming an incredible depth scorer.
I love this list!!! The only change I would make is that I would switch Krejci and Mcavoy. Krejci has been SO GOOD for the Bruins and they would not be where they are without him. Mcavoy just hasn't looked very good since coming back from injury. I've seen him make some dumb plays and he hasn't been physical at all. Other than those two, the list is spot on!!!!🙂

Not only that, he’s not just the “he’s a veteran player so yeah he’s a leader” blanket statement, but if you watch the behind the b’s, bruins social media, interviews, and just all these other things other than the actual games, the guy is an insanely good leader. Watch the behind the b’s episode of the winter classic and you’ll know what I’m talking about. There’s not one good reason why there isn’t an A on his jersey and that’s why I also think he’s A tier

Zacha would be one of my two disagreements as he isn’t S-tier but given his chemistry on the czech line and his phenomenal play making this far, i’d have him in A-tier. my other change would be Forbort. though i agree he is a force this season, i’d put him in A-tier as well. him along side pasta, bergy, ullmark, etc., is a bit too much for me. other than that, i pretty much agreed and i definitely enjoyed the video. thanks for the upload! i made sure to sub for more content like this!

Solid ranking though i'd probably put Zacha higher. Just a concept but maybe ranking the players based on how they've played relative to what was expected of them might be more interesting. For example Foligno might be an S for doing a full 180, bergy might be an A tier for maintaining his form when the expectation was for him to fall off a bit. And Marchand might be B tier, we expected him to be great and he is great.

Right handed Stralman was a smart grab, $1 mil insurance policy especially at the time- Right shooter, McAvoy, grzelcyk & Marchand recovering from surgeries. No one knew if they would be successful. We were down 2 defensemen and lil ratt grit. We only had a coupla right shots, Zboril is a lefty, playing right side. Anton asked & was offered a try out at camp, wanted a deal. We like players who reach out to us because they want to be a Bruin. 🐻 Especially from Toronto 🍁 They're frustrated players... Who have something to prove. 😁 These guys will be ready to go playoffs- when there's NO salary cap! Everyone keeps forgetting-no salary cap playoffs. Some of these guys are secret weapons. And we don't want to risk injuring our 36 year old secret weapon 😉

Has 30 mins of sh toi more than the next closest player on the bruins. 24% of noseks shifts are in the defensive end while carlo is at 22% both top of team. For giveaways only 1 dman has less than carlo. The comment of carlo giveaway in the zone was so off. Fun fact tho pasta is first in the league in giveaways with 70!!!!!

Krejci 2nd tier? He is one of the best creative players in NHL. Whole season he is second best bruins offense after Pasta. If he was USA or Canadien he would be your S? Also Zacha shines in 2nd line but Canadian Hall is up?
A tier for Grzelcyk seems far stretched to me. His numbers are good and he's a good skater, but he still gets overpowered all the time, rarely strips the puck from attacking opponents and very rarely gets out of the corner with the puck. And he can't play on the PK. B tier seems more suited for Grzelcyk.
Poor Craig Smith. He used to be such a hard working, aggressive type player who was willing to get goals in the dirty areas. Now he plays with no confidence and never seems to skate as well as he used to. Must suck to be the odd one out on a near perfect team
I think you are to hard on Carlo. And you are way to high on Gryz. Gryz is out of position so much in the D zone it puts his linemate under a lot of pressure. You said Carlo gives up the puck the most but from what I've seen Gryz is the one who turns the puck over the most. I think you are looking at points and goals a little too much here too. There are certain roles on every team and I see most everyone embracing their role and play a great team game.

Agreed, Krejci makes incredible plays out of nothing and Debrusk has been a fantastic all around player with an emphasis on point production.

Charlie Coyle is probably the most underrated Bruin imo. Given yes, he doesn't get many goals. But he's big in many other ways.
