Drew says the Claymore was an accident. He meant to just hit a big boot, but because of the attire he was wearing (he was wearing long pants or jeans, I can't remember which), both his legs came off the mat and that's how the move came to be. He did feud with Roddy in Evolve after he was fired, but I believe he was already using the move before then, so not sure he "stole" it from him, but maybe saw it and subconsciously took it.
If you've never seen it, watch Megumi Kudo's retirement match, it's one of the most brutal women's matches I've ever seen. Megumi Kudo, if I remember correctly, is a legend in the Japanese wrestling scene. The stipulation of the match: "No Ropes Barbed-Wire Double Landmine Glass Crush Death Match"... if I remember correctly there was also some electrical stuff in the barbed wire. It's an insane match. You can easily find it on TH-cam... and for a brutal match, it lasts a long time too!
There are several points watching it where you are just thinking, "oh my god, this is too much. I should not be watching this." It's genuinely uncomfortable in parts.
Great to see you checking out the Australian female talent. Charli Evans and Jessica Troy are both ridiculously talented, and the WWE's just signed Delta. If you thought Madison Eagles, Toni Storm, the Iiconics, Rhea Ripley, Kellie Skater and Tennille Taylor were all we had, you're just scratching the surface.

Tony pizza guy three TH-camr created a wrestling promotion just so they can have fun and make all of their dreams come true and hell we even got TH-cam sensation Chris danger/aka Chris Decker he is now hitting all over the wrestling scene now they were the pioneers and OG of TH-cam and now they create a promotion that will live on forever. You guys gotta watch more DPW. I highly recommend it whole hell of a lot of fun I think you’re gonna love the whole entire wrestlers and roster of it also does this mean you and conman do more reactions to more DPW?
