Why stick vacuums are a thing I don’t know, but all I can say is that they aren’t practical since all the weight in in your hand, don’t deep clean carpets and rugs, and you can’t vacuum all the carpets in your home in 1 vacuuming session since the battery will need to be recharged just after a short time of using it. First stick vacuum I ever used was a neighbor’s Dyson stick vacuum back in 2012 (don’t remember the model), it was okay for what it was but lacked suction and airflow, and was quite heavy and cumbersome to hold which will get tiring if I had a lot of vacuuming to do. Stick vacuums just make me grateful that I have my Kirby’s and don’t follow any of the stupid trends our windmill brains society follows.
They’re not meant to be full house vacuums, your average consumer doesn’t realise/ doesn’t care and still uses it as such. If used as a full house vacuum it’s much better suited to smaller European homes and apartments which tend to have low pile carpets and hard floors.
@@Kubulek17it’s a shame that Dyson claim them to be upright replacements. I do not agree for them to be suitable for low medium or thick pile carpets, they just are not proper vacuum cleaners. Just good for hard floors only.
@@blakaeg originally they weren't meant to be deep cleaners, just something quick to clean up between using a full-size vacuum. I can most definitely see if someone owns a heavy kirby how a stick would be useful for picking up spills or freshening up during the week.
Thank you so much for this video! I am glad you went over the pros and cons, stick vacs have evolved so much. However, I agree stick vacs can't replace a full size vacuum!
I have just bought a New Levoit cordless vac. I am quite pleased! I have a small apartment w/2 cats 😊 what I really like is that it's not noisy. I hate vacuuming. So do my cats. I do not dread vacuuming anymore & I could afford it because it's reasonably priced.
Thank you for testing it on cat litter! That's my biggest thing. Although I have hardwoods, not carpet or tile. My shark does a decent job of picking up clay litter. But it's not 100% and I have to make a 2nd pass many times.
Appreciate the review! We have hard laminate floors, and it's more so (in so far as looking at vacuums for an older person) for picking up hair that I've been checking different brands. I will say, LEVOIT is a bit of a mixed bag from my experience. I've found more and more people recommend bagged vacuums; the only issue (not mine..) is the certain person in question I'm looking at a solution for lol.. Is stubborn & considers a cord to be "inconvenient & unnecessary, given it's just to do light cleaning and mostly picking up hairs" - and in all fairness she has a point, but there's still dust being picked up anytime you do vacuum hairs from the floor.... So come the moment to empty the container- you're going to get a small but noticeable plume of dust greeting you. /shrug Their air purifiers are decent; however they did go about the dirty tactic of initially upon release- having their HEPA filters be at a reasonable price... Only to almost double/gauge them across all their lines of air purifiers. The reviews everywhere help contextualize the period of time in which they done so as well. I'd steer clear from their 'ultrasonic' humidifiers, outright however. They can *look* visually attractive - but when it comes to maintenance, performance, etc... You get my drift lol. Though, most people with hard water should avoid ultrasonic ones anyways, bit of a tangent. Sorry
It's not. Not even other sharks are compatible with shark attachments. Jason also uses a variety but there appears to be about four different standards right now. What makes you think this would be compatible with any other vacuum cleaner from the review video?
Hilarious. There's a machine sold by an Australian chain that has sadly gone under called the Wertheim Evolution Max and its literally the same machine, except it comes with two batteries, a charging base and a head exclusively for hard floors.
I have this vacuum and it works great when it works/run, the power when on high kills the battery in 10 minutes. Hours to recharge, that alone makes it not worth it or useful
I got a Dyson v8 absolute for 400 and it's a primium product for a little bit of cleaning here and there. I rather buy a Sharck over this IQ40. After all what do you spect from a 200 dollars starter company.

It’s all Dyson’s fault

Levoit started with air purifiers and they do an amazing job at it. They have a long way to go with vacuums.

I'm looking for a cordless vacuum, what's your recommendation or your favourite you prefer

It's funny at the start of video as soon as I saw the design of the floor head especially the swivel part it reminded me of a Tineco

Would love to see a shoot out with cordless stick vacuums from tinco, Ryobi etc...

Dyson is no way a premium product. Very cheaply made plastic fantastic!
I have it and for me it’s even batter than Dyson
That's not saying much.
the plastic comment was enough, not interested in their product
He talks and sigh like it’s making him work hard clown
"What's the matter you don't like clowns? Aren't we funny don't we make you laugh?!"
base model
I'll be glad when this trend dies. Would rather have a cordless Henry
Unfortunately the cordless Henry has been discontinued for a cordless stick vacuum Henry due out in fall 2022
There's now a cordless stick Henry. It at least will use a bag.
I wish i would have seen this before i bought one they are junky don't waste your money
