In reality since the magnet is attached to the cardboard which is attached to the car the magnets gravitational pull will be the exact same and the car will go nowhere. Plus if this actually worked we would all be using magnet propelled cars to a certain extent and not gas or electric powered ones.

Like the first one it shows some one holding the magnet to the car but the difference between the guy and the stick is the guy is moving the magnet close and far from the car to make it move but the stick is just sitting there (my explanation may be wrong)
