It's the only sustainable future. Poor people will otherwise move in droves, cause problems elsewhere and ruin the planet due to a lack of alternative. First the poor need to be lifted out of poverty and live a sustainable live, before we can even begin to think about saving the climate.

One thing I said on Andrews channel is that if you make people self-sufficient where they can feed their families you have more resources so people aren't fighting over them and that in turn means we have less terrorism because scarcity is what really pushes it on the continent of Africa. There are so many different benefits to what you guys are doing it's amazing. I hope that one day what you guys do spreads to the entire world and I mean all the people as well so that people will start caring about the land more and stop cutting down our forests.

It is the solution and way for many rural types of food production. Though it is not suited for feeding urban centers. Most of the human population live as urbanites. They demand extreme efficiency and production. Permaculture is not scalable in high density human population.
Though perhaps Permaculture paradises will allure many urbanites to venture out of the cities.

I was initially skeptical but you explained this thoroughly enough and go about this much more scientifically than I expected. Instead, it turned out to be something beyond beautiful that helps literally everyone and everything. This is the way our entire planet should be run, in a way that benefits life collectively as a whole.

    Gefunden! Danke Planet Wild!

    'Green walls against desertification'.
Digging holes in the ground, to not only catch rain water but hold it without flooding and hidden grass seeds will grow. Add trees around them and so the growing green will not only secure water for any human/animal community but start to cool down the area and block any harsh hot winds. Brilliant! ❤️
If you have a garden, grow a tree ❤️ I am!
If you see an ugly patch of bare ground in the full sun, drop some flower seeds ❤️

Not just food trees, either. We have a problem here in New England with reforesting usually being done like commercial logging planting. Everything is all just pines, pines, pines. I've been growing northern catalpa and oaks in my house to plant in the spring and help mix things up!

One of my favorite things is the sharing of saplings with neighbors. That’s great! These systems are self-replicating and regenerative.
Over time, the local/small water cycle will also start to change as more and more food forests and agroforestry … cover cropping… and more.
