You’re doing great work George. The world is so sharply divided across cultural and political lines. It’s easy to get lost in these divisions. But your work is highlighting just how “untrue” this is. We have way more in common with people from an entirely different culture and time than we do differences.
Even if I don’t “get” the moral of the stories. I “get” how they demonstrate the commonalities between my experience as a typical modern American with those of a sage from ancient China.
We couldn’t be more disparate in culture and environment. But our experience as human is really no different. It encourages a sense of brotherhood to “see” that.
I've been really struggling with anxiety and depression and your videos help remove myself from it for a bit. Thank you so much for all your efforts

It's like I know these things deep down, I practice them everyday, but as soon as I get lost in my head and emotions (pain patterns), I completely forget about them. I'm sick now, and meditating on having no goals in life, just living an experience and enjoying it, and it saddens me so deeply, it's surprising... thank you George.

Love this video too George. The Stories are great, your narration is superb and the best thing is how you give connect things and give pointers for our well being, connecting both our mind and body. I am yet to start on your Tai chi exercises but I am confident I will incorporate them.
I really never thought that our being is limited. Our brain is only so big and still has ways to go evolving. Yet we, I do, give ourselves such hard time to figure out everything, have control and understanding of different things and give ourselves hard time if we cannot. I think, after watching your video that is just physically impossible for us to grasp the vast nature of creation and its concepts. So we should utilize whatever little understanding we have, the wisdom given by some of our ancestors to understand and more importantly implement their wisdom.
I can't thank you enough for creating such good, immensely deep and useful videos. Also, I would love to connect with you 1 x 1 sometime if you have time.
