We just need to believe not only that he existed but that we need Him. Talk to God and tell Him if you are how sorry you are for your sins. Turn away from them, listen to the holy spirit and live for Him. You will sin after but don't be okay with it, try not to. Read your Bible (KJV) and pray. Christianity is not a religion but a personal relationship with our creator.
