Hahaha, your experience teaching young learners definitely comes through here ;)...but definitely high-quality. Thanks! It's great to see concrete examples alongside tips about these lesser-known vehicles online.
i dont have any professional experience with teaching but i used to run my own daycare and would teach them and read to them. I have a big love for books and history and i was thinking like ela for preschoolers and maybe doing some history classes maybe even literature based history classes with older kids.
Thanks for this very helpful video Danie. I'm going to apply for Outschool pretty soon and was wondering if "Travelling" can be used for the video demo? I've been doing it for 14 years and I've already used that topic while teaching kids on Cambly. Therefore, I was wondering if that can be used to my advantage? Thanks:)
Hi Danie! I really enjoy art! I am not an art teacher, but I would call myself a good artist. I wanted to do a Christmas themed lesson and teach how to draw a reindeer plus teach some interesting facts about them! I was thinking of also adding a Christmas book into my lesson. Does this seem like too much and me not focusing on my niche?
My issue is that I have the most expertise and evidence in SPED, but I’m not sure how to teach that effectively online. I have one year of coaching and 6 years of experience in cheerleading and am more passionate about that, but is it ok to have a niche with less experience?
I felt like my class description was really great, but I got declined and no feedback. I have no idea what I did wrong, I’ve watched so many videos and tips, could you help me?? Are you allowed to add more niches in more classes after being accepted?
I think you answered one of my primary questions, which was that you just pre-record the video and act as if you are interacting with kids. Thank you!
Your video just got me accepted! Thank you so much ❤️
YAY! I'm so happy it helped! Welcome to Outschool!

@@DanieJay Having TH-cam stalked you now, I saw that! Ha! Glad to hear it. I feel like I have learned so much from you in the past few days!
Thank you for making this video... I just got back to the USA (after being in Morocco for 16 months) and am checking out Outschool!
Excellent information. Thanks for all that you shared on this video.
You’re amazing at what you do! Thank you, Danie!
Thank you so much for your advice. It was very helpful. I got accepted!
No I need help to get more students. I have had 3 so far.
Excellent Danie.
Thanks for watching! I hope it was helpful

Can’t wait to try this!!
I can't wait either! Your calligraphy niche and video will be fire!! 🔥🔥🔥
How’d it go for you?
That was an excellent sample lesson.
Thank you so much! Are you applying to Outschool or already work for them?!
@@DanieJay I plan to apply this week.

niche question: I do a lot of crafts and cooking. baking and making clay. do you think thats too broad?
Do you recommend doing a “one time” class or a two/several part class for your application?

Hi danie! Thank you for the great video! Is teaching on outschool only live classes or can you add prerecorded classes?
4:45 for the video sample
What program did you use to make your application video?
I used iMovie ❤️
I don’t have a Mac. Do you know what others have used?
The only thing I can think of is that I had my niche, but I don’t have any teaching credentials or anything like that

always go with what you're passionate about...these classes are for kids and they will pick up on that
Thank you!
Sure thing! I hope it was helpful for you!

Did you reapply?
They said a 3-5minutes video and yet I can't post my 3 minutes video on the application. I'm not doing that again
