This is by far the best recreation I've seen, you can tell a ton of work went into this instead of overlapping the concert audio. This is awesome!

This is awesome! Amazing how whenever I want to find a mix of any kind on TH-cam, chances are another AJR fan uploaded it.
Small bit of feedback: at 8:40ish, when the overture comes back in, I think it may have been a little smoother if you let Way Less Sad continue a little longer longer since the return of the overture starts pretty quietly, so it feels like a sudden drop. Or had some other backing melody there, maybe just from OK Overture itself. In the concert, it felt like the background to the melody was louder. Regardless, phenomenal job with this!

Yeah I agree, that part definitely could be smoother but it was probably the most difficult part to edit since I was putting together different audio clips and didn't have one that was exactly what the concert audio sounded like. (th-cam.com/video/iqK7hX1cfUw/w-d-xo.html.) If I were to redo it I'd probably recreate the final bit of music from scratch to make it sound more similar to the original.

Haha, it was a lot of work actually. I only used the tour videos as a reference, everything else I completely reconstructed from scratch.
Edit: with help from the creators I mentioned in the description.
You should remake this, and take the audio that ajr posted with the spoken parts at the end

@@thategg9447 Ohhh... well, the reason is that to make it in the same key as the concert, I'd have to lower the entire thing, and when I do that all the voices sound deeper too, and it sounds very unnatural. So I figured I'd change the key during the transition which overall makes it sound much better even though it isn't 100% authentic to the original.
Instrumental version maybe?
Oh, gosh. Well, maybe... I'll add it to my endless list of stuff to do. Not even sure I still have the file for this project but I may get around to it someday.
did you just use a midi controller from the transition to way less sad or real violin??
I recorded it myself, and it was with a cello.
