Citroën C3 WRC Plus Tribute: Starts, Accelerations, Turbo Chirping, Burnouts & Sound!

- Here's a video tribute I put together using most of the clips my friends Italiansupercarvideo, MattyB727 and I made about the Citroën C3 WRC, during some events from the 2017-2019 period.
This was the very first WRC car of the 'Plus' era I managed to see and record when it was still a development mule. Of course it immediately impressed me by how faster and grippier (on tarmac) the new WRC monsters would have been. (Here's the video from 2016: • 2017 Citroën C3 WRC So...
The car is powered by the same 1.6-litre turbicharged 4-cylinder engine used and developed for their C-Elysée WTCC car, with a max power of 380hp and 400 Nm of torque. In late 2019 a new aerodinamic package was spottend being tested but unfortunately it was never used in any official WRC round because Citroën retired at the end of the season.

the speed of those WRC cars is insane
They top out at 200km/h...they made for acceleration,not high end speed.
This rally cars are so brutal! Damn!!!

Stellantis should get Citroen or Peugeot back to rally. With Fourmaux they have French combo. There are some italian drivers from WRC3 + review Lancia/Alfa/Fiat?
Lancia right now it's selling only the shitty Ypsilon
Fiat will probably release this or next year the new Punto with the platform shared with psa
We have some very good drivers in our Italian championship but the step to the wrc (even 2 or wrc3) is very expansive for most
@@LorenzoClara97 Lancia can use the same platforms to build next Delta or even new model. It would be strange that they still force Lancia as almost boutique brand and not leverage racing history of the brand. Like Polo and Fabia in VW concern. Why not to have Punto/Delta and WRC will become cheaper. Money should not be a problem if Stellantis finds motive to go thru it and experts are there sitting already.

With Citroen's rally history the disgusting thing is that they left in the first place.
@@mitchell-wallisforce7859 I believe for some companies is hard to sell/utilize rally success. Citroen did not raise almost any credibility with Xsara or C4 as a car that won all those races. Even now Citroen does not emphasize (ever) racing. Even design does not show Citroen's as a sporty cars. After WRC they went to TCR (or however that competition was called) and won. So after a decade of wining they still did not know what to do with the brand. Indeed Integrale, WRX or Evo's did not raise the selling numbers, but even now when you think Impreza, you think about glorious blue/gold scheme, incredible sound etc. What do you feel about C4? On top, nowdays teens are special type of people who are going more and more away from car culture we were brought up in 80s, 90s and 00s.
