Hi guys, I’m Vietnamese and have traveled from North to South extensively. If you don't like the voice, you can read my article about Hoi An and Da Nang on my blog here. vietnamwherestay.com/da-nang-vs-hoi-an-which-is-the-better-place-to-stay/
Most Vietnamese tend to prefer going on holiday in Da Nang and taking day trips to Hoi An. There are many things to do in Da Nang, along with larger resorts and hotels. International travelers, however, seem to prefer Hoi An more.
The robotic voice is tiresome and often mispronounces even the names of the two places being contrasted. With such a basic mistake, I don't feel like I can trust the information in the video.
Vietnamese here. I agree that sometimes the pronunciation of names might not be perfect, but it's still acceptable. I'll work on improving it. It took me a few hours to write the script and create the video. I've traveled to both places, and everything is based on my real experiences.
Actually I lived in Da Nang many times and long times and I visited Hoi An many times as well and yeah I think that the video describes it pretty well but the big thing that the video should have said straightaway is that Da Nang is a big city with more than 1.2 million people and Hoi An is just very small. I don’t know how many people but it’s just very small and very touristic. But the surroundings are great and very laid-back with countryside and beach.

My wife and I just visited both places three weeks ago in mid-October. I agree and would rather stay in Da Nang.
