07:48 the real treasure was the holotape that Jon overlooked along the way ;-) 26:50 "No-one's mentioned a Malcolm to me" literally the person before last said "I don't much want it because Malcolm gave it to me"
25:50 - The context for Jon saying that was: -Lady Aria had been told to talk to John Strutter by Apache Alice. -The dialogue choice to get in the door mentions John having a problem with Malcolm BUT -Apache Alice didn't mention Malcolm was the problem So that's why Jon was confused.
The Jon “Fallout Drinking Bingo” is off the bloomin’ charts today! So many “No Problem” “Keep on Keeping On” and “Cocking” in this episode, what are you trying to do to me!
No one has mentioned Malcom to me before. When the captain literally just said the gun was a gift from Malcolm. Also the reason why you had to go get all those guns for the captain was because Malcom sold them then said they were stolen and pocketed the money and resold the guns.
Yeah but the problem was that Apache Alice is the one who sent Jon to help John Strutter but she didn't mention Malcolm at all. Yet somehow the dialogue option to get into John's door says that his problem is with Malcolm. Where did this information come from?
John clearly has no appreciation of punk! He missed soooooo many references to punk bands/songs in this episode! Guns of Lewisham is a ref to Guns of Brixton by The Clash. This is one of soooo many!!!!
Jon's -1 to Perception strikes again, missing the holotape where the locker full of tickets was supposed to be, and not noticing the large sign that says "BEVERAGES" above the door into the pub.
Well it doesn't require a silly amount of power to play Fallout 4. Try borrowing something older and see if you can get it to run, needs 8gb of ram. Even the recommended spec isn't very high, just get something with dedicated video ram of 3gb or 4gb to be safe. The required specs are so low the 12 year old PC I was given for free and then stuck a £30 graphics card in can play it.
With all of these fetch quests that seem to come with every faction, I'd probably have 3/4 of the London factions against me by now from sheer overwhelming rage. "Go here to get a thing" "We have the thing but need you to get us something in return." "Here's your thing, now give me my thing." "Sorry mate, need you to go talk to these other blokes and get them their things before I can give you your thing." *Temporary sense of accomplishment overshadowed by my UNYIELDING RAGE!*
Did John ever locate the little easter egg at the South-East riverbank next to the Tower Bridge? Definitely something he needs to add to the apparel collection.
Jon: You'd think radioactive waste would be fairly low on the list. Maybe just start with water. If you used water from the river Thames It'd be both. Oh, that reminds me. Keep an eye out in the river when you're traveling around. There's a funny quest hidden out under the river, if you can find it.
Hi Jon great video though I recommend talking to Syd when your back at the vagabond pub and do his quest and the optional part and do the special check after finishing while talking
Jon, be sure to chat to the pistols! Like most punks and anarchists they're all pretty chill good people! Also, some, ahem, near the band stage, might have some very cool little quests as well.
Ah, a delightful reference there, ”etc etc I’ll kill ya, you’re gonna have to work very hard to stay alive”. Lock Stock and two smoking Barrels - Rory Breakers warning to Nick the Greek.
So John completely missed The Clash reference with the gun, John Strutter is that Joe Strummer with a slight name alteration. Siouxsie Sue working at CyberDog sorting out the Pistols... Plus yes, Camden used to be nice, until there was a mysterious fire at the Stable Market about a week after they had their planning permission to update it refused. Highly suspicious but nobody was ever prosecuted for it. And so they completely updated the site as though it was repairs, and now it's a bleeding Sports Direct, Disney, etc. hellhole. Completely ruined it. Just wondering if the Devonshire Arms is in the game under a humorous pseudonym. 🤣
30:40 Clearly Jon has never used a grenade to pop open a barred door in FO4. I use that trick to get into the top of the Milton parking garage every time.
I've been watching too much of your Morrowind series - when you were trying to get up to that building I thought "Jon's forgotten he can levitate again."
I nearly facepalmed when you said "no one has mentioned a Malcolm to me" -- I mean, granted, ALICE sure as hell didn't when she gave you the quest, but... I do wonder what happens if you tell John the truth that you threatened to chin the guy when he wouldn't sign at first. Does he care, or... ?
Is there some sort of narrative about the UK in general that Fallout: London is trying to tell when a british person playing it keeps going "Uh another pub" followed by him beelining towards it immediately? :P
Is it really worth getting gun nut levels? Most of the load out Jon has ended up with (and when I play the game) is legendary or similar weapons you just pick up. Maybe I missed some of the other benefits, honest question from a relative newbie.
Jon how many rubbish legendary drops have you found here compared to your previous FO4 series? It feels like in FOL you are finding way more useful drops than even Legendary Roulette. I am guessing there is no way to edit the table that says what things can drop, but that would have been amazing. Not getting rubbish pieces of leather armor 3/4 of the time.
What is an equivalent to a chief inspector in the US? I assume inspector = detective, but there isn't really a primary detective, since the police chief is more political/ policy? Maybe captain.
As its the Metropolitan Police Force, an Inspector is the rank above Sub Inspectors and Sergeants, whether Police Inspectors (Uniformed) or Detective Inspectors. ( Elsewhere in England and Wales there are no Sub Inspectors, and Scotland has their own ranking.) So an Inspector would be the equivalent to a Lieutenant, And a Chief Inspector would be equivalent to a Captain.
Not that I don't love Krira's company, but don't we have one more companion to accompany us? That Ghoul you cut down from the sign. Edit: You don't pickpocket much do you Jon? That would have been my first try.

In my defence, that tape has nothing to do with the quest - it was just a Sad Pre-War Person who was Sad Because Of Nukes
@ManyATrueNerd how rare in Fallout, I can see why it got cut ;-)
@@ManyATrueNerdto be fair, it's a good reason to be sad

I’m all for suspension of disbelief, but the the ease with which Jon has gotten on the London property ladder is really stretching credibility 😂

Rory Breakers lines from Lock stock and two smoking barrels.
THATS where I recognized it from! Best Guy Ritchie movie.
Nicolarse 🤣

Jon will be like "WHY THE BLOODY COCKING HELL DID I NOT GET THIS UPGRADE WHEN I WAS LAST HERE IN HACKNEY???!?!!?!?" next time
Severed the threads of fate? Hang on is every Aria now also the Nerevarine? Sounds like some Starfield multiverse nonsense! It is all linked!
I was not expecting the Morrowind call out to be honest
Look behind you Jon, that's where the pile of corpses are.
And strangely they are missing their hats 🤔
John Strutter has to be a reference to Joe Strummer.

Whoever did the voice for doctor featherstone whatever it was sounds like tubbs from league of gentlemen and I love it! 😂

Bruh I’ve been trying to point that out but Jon has so far missed it every time
I was in Camden Town last Friday night, and...it didn't look all that different.
Camden Town is seriously cool.
I like the revolver shootgun from select series of weapons for fallout 4

Capt Reasonable is also a play on Capt Sensible, an old semi popular british singer songwriter!
Another episode of Jon missing holotapes
(7:48) Did Jon miss that holotape on the crane thingy?
(11:15) I believe that shotguns do get the plasma effect on every pellet.

I like to imagine the whole petition thing is a reference to Postal 2 😂
Did you get that holotape at the top of the tower??
Don't think so, if he did grab it, he decided it wasn't worth sharing with us.
Before you continue with the quest I hope you check out your new flat first.

A group named The Pistols and one of them has a unique gun called The Clash. I'm guessing Jon isn't familiar with British Punk music.

What is an equivalent to a chief inspector in the US? I assume inspector = detective, but there isn't really a primary detective, since the police chief is more political/ policy? Maybe captain.
Chief of police maybe? Comissioner also jumps to mind. (Thinking of Comissioner Gordon from Batman.)
