Baccalaureate Modality to Study in Spain ⭐️ Escuela PCE

🟡 Welcome to the third video of the Dictionary to study in Spain at the Intermediate level. In this video we are going to talk about the Baccalaureate Modality, one of the requirements that can be requested for access to the Spanish university.
🟡 This requirement is special and is only required at specific universities, so you may not have to comply with it. We are going to explain where they ask for it and how to get it.

🟡 The Baccalaureate Modality is a requirement that consists of establishing a relationship between the examined subjects of the PCE and the branch of studies of the degree that you want to access.

There are two ways to accredit the Baccalaureate Modality:
1️⃣ Approve (minimum 5 points out of 10) three PCE subjects, one of each type of subject according to the chosen modality.
2️⃣ Obtain an average grade of 5 points in 4 PCE subjects, having completed at least one PCE of each block.
🟡 The ideal is always to prepare 4 subjects to achieve the highest qualification and ensure that this requirement is met, so the most profitable is to present:
✅ A General core subject.
✅ A subject according to modality
✅ Two core subjects of option, that is, specific.
🟡 If, for example, you want to access a science degree, an example could be to present:
➡️ English, Mathematics II, Biology and Chemistry.
🟡 If you wanted to access a social degree, you could choose:
➡️ Language, Social Mathematics (CCSS), Economics and Philosophy.
The options are multiple, so you can choose different subjects as you wish but complying with this choice requirement.
🟡 Finally, it remains to indicate where this requirement is requested. If you want to access the universities of:
✅ Madrid
✅ Castilla León (Salamanca, Valladolid, León or Burgos).
You will have to meet this requirement. Otherwise, you will not be able to access your studies.
🟡 For the rest of the universities it is not necessary to comply with the High School Modality, but with others. Therefore, in the next video we will begin to explain the most essential, such as the difference between the PCE and EBAU exams.
