Goldfish and Hand Experiments

Here are a couple of experiments in which video spans a television and a bell jar as a “Pepper’s Ghost” reflection effect while being manipulated live by my synthesizers using VDMX from @vidvox.
The segmented line effect is known as “Rutt-Etra” and here it is implemented in VDMX as a plug-in effect created by the artist/developer known as Vade. If you’re interested in Rutt-Etra, I recommend looking up video from the original 1970s analog effect. It’s amazing.

how did you get rutt extra to work on vdmx5...is this the v002 version? thnx

It works if you run VDMX under Rosetta. You have to Get Info on the app and then check the "Rosetta" box and relaunch. It's not a fast as Intel but it should function. Good luck!
