Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup th-cam.com/users/postUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.
Pet peeve when u have tackle box with handle n ur about to change fishing spots so u grab ur tackle box but forget to buckle it close so now u have all ur lures on the floor
I can't remember if you've done this, but when you're fishing for an hour or longer, change lures like 86 times, not even a single bite. Someone else shows up and catches a decent fish on their first cast (or within five min). Happened to me last week, I was NOT happy with myself!!
d surick I live near Andrew flair and miliken fishing, so I’ve seen them on the water a couple times. Anyway I was fishing this lake and The milk man comes up on me and hooks a 4 pounder, so I said, DUDE IVE BEEN FISHING THIS SPOT FOR 20 MINUTES, and he goes, “My bad bro”
That Happened to me. I was at lake kegonza using nightcrawlers and this other dude came along and caught 2 largemouth bass in like 5 minutes and i was fishing all damn day and I caught nothing. But then the next day i caught a freshwater drum And that was good
The boat one cracks me up. That happens to me all the time. I'll usually start casting at them when they start getting to close. Sometimes they get the hint and steer out.
I've had a bass boat anchor on the shoal I was fishing and completely block me. I thought about tying on a 1/2 or 3/4 once weight and start pegging the boat. Chose to be the better person though
I’ve got a few myself : 1) when you’re fishing from shore , you catch a fish and take 4-5 steps back to unhook the fish , then just as you’re done , some one is now standing in your spot , as if you weren’t going to come back to your spot . Or another one is the one where you’re there first , fishing at a dam , minding your own business , then some old guy shows up and stand two feet from you , in a few min their buddy shows up and stand 3 feet from them and start trash talking about how close you’re standing next to them , in English , thinking you don’t know the universal language 😡
1:26 Everetime I hook any parts of my clothing, it takes me about 20 minutes to untangle the barbs, and if it takes me over 30 min, I'll just cut a hole.
The boater in the end happens to me the most. A big part of it is I fish in really 'good spots'. Good as in they're good for boaters to mess around in. Hahaha
Here’s some of mine 1. when a recreational kayaker goes right through the weed line your fishing and take way too long, and just sit there 2. When your fishing a no wake and some boat goes about 50 miles per hour through it. 3. And when another boat goes 10 feet from you while your fishing a 1/2 mike wide river
Just binging through the series, had to comment on the boats… I fish at a lake in a tourist town, so there is heavy boat traffic on weekends. One evening, I found a spot where the trout were huge and jumping like crazy. Came back the next morning with my fishing stuff and got set up. Not as much action, but still a good amount of jumpers. Suddenly, a boat blasting loud music (yes, at 7 AM) drifts by. It was no more than ten feet away from my line. The boat then guns the engines, makes a u-turn, and zooms by in the opposite direction. Made these huge waves that got my lure tangled in some plants (RIP) and scared the fish away.
Oh goodness, the boat thing drives me up the wall. Not so much on the coastal rivers here in Oregon but on the Deschutes outside The Dalles they insist on going right where we were casting. It's either that or they don't bother going 5mph which is posted, etched into the I-84 bridge
My two biggest pet peeves are,my cousins who get snagged on rocks and then making me tie on the their bait and when someone tries to net a fish for you without you asking and they snag the hook with the net releasing the fish..
Good stuff. My biggest peve is when I'm fishing close to the bank from my small boat and another boater(bass boat) drives right through where I'm fishing between me and the bank. Instead of just passing behind me in open water. It's kinda like when you drive a POS beater car people are quick to cut you off and look down on you.
Where i live boats need to be at least 100 yards away from the pier, when they come closer i talk super loud about being able to hit them with my 6oz pyramid weight. Works to get them to leave
That one about tangling your hook in the net reminds me One day I was fishing and caught a little bullhead catfish and the spine on his fin caught on the net and got seriously tangled. I had to cut a piece of the net off before releasing the bullhead.
my pet peeve is when i get lazy and jam a bunch of soft plastics into one bag and especially when i need a specific lure (ie senko watermelon red 5 inch) and all my bags of soft plastics are just miss matched and i cant find that lure for like 10 minutes and waste time and energy.
Biggest pet peeve, when I go to my fishing spot and it is littered with trash from previous fishermen or when they leave spools of their line all over the shore
hey Brendan great video!! but sometimes when you do bang a dock with your bait it can attract the bass like a bluegill that bangs in the dock or boat. just a little tip.
Your channel is pretty unique than the others. A lot of other channels copy the same format as other channels. I appreciate that. Lojo keeps it gangster also. Shoutout to lojo. Sick new swimbaits. Congrats.
It's even worse when you're fishing toward a bank and a boater thinks they should get between you and the bank you're fishing. It has happened to me several times. Once a guy ran thru with the gas motor.
That first one...every time I take someone new fishing, every time. After 5 minutes they'll stop casting and be like "this is a waste of time, there's no fish here."
One of my biggest pet peeves is holding fish up for a picture and dropping them. The next one would have to be when the fish you dropped or a fish in your livewell jumps out of the boat
When your buddies invite you to come fishing and there will be plenty of room in the boat. Then 7 people show up for a tiny boat and there isn't even enough room to cast...
When you fish with someone on shore line, that always has to be in front of you and cast in front of you then keeps saying things like "IN YOUR FACE!" as if they are the better fishermen and don't realize they are just getting first cast in every spot.
Do you another video of what’s inside my tacklebox please I really like those videos and keep on making great videos do you’re really awesome and I think your village are really helping me and my brothers fishing skills and I just wanna say thank you for teaching me all the stuff I’ve caught your car up and bigger bass with your tips

Pet peeve when u have tackle box with handle n ur about to change fishing spots so u grab ur tackle box but forget to buckle it close so now u have all ur lures on the floor
that's been done already haha.
He did that but with different context
I have done ✅ that
Yeah on the floor cuz i fish in my house
Lmfao no pet peeve when u in my boat and bring a 1970 tackle box and do that who uses old tackle boxes these days use tackle boxes with drawers
Minnow bucket spilling in the car is way worse haha
my truck smells like fish since the day after I bought it
An old boss of mine forgot he had shad in his truck after a fishing trip. There is nothing that smells worse than that lol

Once went walleye fishing with my family and we limited out. Only problem, I caught one fish. I wanted to die.
d surick that happened to me yesterday
That Happened to me. I was at lake kegonza using nightcrawlers and this other dude came along and caught 2 largemouth bass in like 5 minutes and i was fishing all damn day and I caught nothing. But then the next day i caught a freshwater drum And that was good
d surick so you change your bait 8 times in 5 minutes?

Tying on a new lure and first cast you lose it on a snag
It happens to me with my new beetle spin. 🤬🤬
That happened to me 4 times today
@@JackFalcon871 Lost a 10 dollar crankbait ripppp
That just means it wasnt meant to be
With all these pet peeves its a miracle you even enjoy fishing
These are great lol...
He is literally everywhere!
Bruh. Lmao this is my 20th time seeing you today 💀
Welp, 10100290202900119910292929292920th time seeing you
Sneaks right
IKR LOL

You continue to bring a little humor/reality to the fisherman. great job, love your videos.

When u are using two piece rod and one pice fells in water😂
Loll
Felt that😂😪
He did that a few episodes ago
I hate that
That has happened to me
*What the Sam!?*
*Brendan Miller 2018*
Bro the one we’re the boat goes in your way while fishing is so relatable
4:59 idk why but that yell cracks me up. I guess he just sounds so pissed off its funny.
Just love the humor & scene setups😄.

Glad I rewatched the other pet peeves videos in the past week
The last one is so true, I have so many boats just stroll right there where I’m fishing, so annoying
Good stuff. My biggest peve is when I'm fishing close to the bank from my small boat and another boater(bass boat) drives right through where I'm fishing between me and the bank. Instead of just passing behind me in open water. It's kinda like when you drive a POS beater car people are quick to cut you off and look down on you.
I’ve watched every one of these over and over😂😂 we need a new one brendan
Agreed
Where i live boats need to be at least 100 yards away from the pier, when they come closer i talk super loud about being able to hit them with my 6oz pyramid weight. Works to get them to leave
6:14 the “catch anything?” Was gold
People missidentifying fish
*catches a bluegill* "OMFG ITS A CRAPPIE!!!!"
*Catches any sunfish* omg its a bluegill!
catches a green sunfish "OMGGG its a bass and bluegill hybrid!!!"
*catches a baby trout* OMFG ITS A MEGALODON!!!
JHMiller01 JHMiller01 ive seen someone catch a bluegill and call it a crappie😂😂
That one about tangling your hook in the net reminds me
One day I was fishing and caught a little bullhead catfish and the spine on his fin caught on the net and got seriously tangled.
I had to cut a piece of the net off before releasing the bullhead.

As a kayaker I do the last one often but in my defence I fish creeks not lakes so I get as far away and paddle as easy/quiet as possible
Nice work bud! I love the creativeness!
Biggest pet peeve, when I go to my fishing spot and it is littered with trash from previous fishermen or when they leave spools of their line all over the shore
When the fish is done fighting and it skimmed across the water as your reeling in
3:51 the best one😂😂😂
hey Brendan great video!! but sometimes when you do bang a dock with your bait it can attract the bass like a bluegill that bangs in the dock or boat. just a little tip.
NICCCCEEE if it aint broke dont fix it my good man
1:00 the face you make when you fart in public! LOL 😂
Quite recently I was fishing the float for 30 mins with maggots and my bait was stolen by small fish and I was fishing with an empty hook
My top fishing pet peeve is when the guy you’re fishing from the bank with fishes right on top of you with the same lure
Your channel is pretty unique than the others. A lot of other channels copy the same format as other channels. I appreciate that. Lojo keeps it gangster also. Shoutout to lojo. Sick new swimbaits. Congrats.
4:36 i thought that was what the texas rig was for but idk ive never used a texas rig cuz i always use like a crankbait or something like that
I love the fishing pet peves & home made lures
The net thing , there’s certain type of nets out there that’s coated and it’s less likely that the hook will get tangle in the mesh
0:00 what was that hand doe???
6:15 happens to me literally every time on the water. Someone even ran over my line I was fishing an expensive topwater bait.
It's even worse when you're fishing toward a bank and a boater thinks they should get between you and the bank you're fishing. It has happened to me several times. Once a guy ran thru with the gas motor.
I feel like this when I went fishing and caught nothing but we were there for hours :(
Haha. These are so good man. Like the disappearing lure and boaters running through your fishing spot.
Cau’n plenny o’ fish. I love the new American accent. It’s so new.
The first is one and second one is waaaayyyyy to relatable
I've had the boater one happen to me on a kayak, dude rolled up and pissed me off, saw 3 or 4 different fish jump in the same spot
The one where the other guys aren’t as serious about fishing as you are is soooooo relatable
And the one where boaters/jet skiers think they can drive right through your fishing space😡😠😤
"Who ever thought of barbed hooks anyways "🤣
The noise he made @3:55 was absolutely ridiculous 🤣🤣
My pet peeve is when you cast and the bell on your spinning reel closes mid cat and your lure/rig breaks off
These are your best videos, please do more.
Mine is when your walking down to the water with a fishing pole and people ask, "are you fishing?"
Once I snagged myself in the nose because I was tiring on a crank bait and went to swat a fly not nowing that the line was rapped around my finger
_Very good fisherman _*_Fishing_*_ congratulations!_ 👍🎣🐟🐠😊
DUDE!!!! Was that Leesville lake? i know I'm 3 yrs late but I always fish there when I'm in ohio
talking abt the boat ramp one
That first one...every time I take someone new fishing, every time. After 5 minutes they'll stop casting and be like "this is a waste of time, there's no fish here."
When he showed the part where worms and minnows spilled I started dying
4:03 is that real or photoshopped I CANT TELLLL
It’s fake
Huh I don’t know
The second one was me literally all day today 😂😂
My fishing pet peeve is when someone fishes right next to you when you are catching fish and the person scares the fish
That last one pissed me off.Because that happens to me all the time.
The last one is so relatable
3:55 it really do be like that sometimes.
What a bloody good actor mate!
Love the videos and dedication man ! You're my fav!
One of my biggest pet peeves is holding fish up for a picture and dropping them. The next one would have to be when the fish you dropped or a fish in your livewell jumps out of the boat
When you catch a fish and by the time you unhook the fish an entire family has moved into the same spot you caught the fish.
My pet peeve is when random people tell you how to fish ( even when they clearly don’t fish ). Happens all the time
My fishing pet peeve, is when I barley get there and, they come and ask " have you caught anything"
Yeahhhh ... the boat one happens all the time to me haha
I love this series 🐟
Fish shaking off senko is my pet peeve
0:33 They are the type of person to fish after watching TH-cam and expecting to catch a lot of fish
When boaters get close enough to cast at this is what big spoons are made for. And you thought they were just for fish.lol
Keep doing this I love these!!!
All of this relates to me! Lol 😂🤣
Lol the last one always happens to me
When ur trolling with multiple lines and thay all get tangled up
The old person on the end of their dock telling you they'll cut you line during a tournament
What I do is,I flip the soft bait upside down and rig it again but i only do it with the bait at 4:50
When you put your favorite lure in your tackle box to go to the bathroom and then
This one time I was fishing and I casted and this boater comes right in front of me and starts shouting to hold my cast cus she it coming through.
When your buddies invite you to come fishing and there will be plenty of room in the boat. Then 7 people show up for a tiny boat and there isn't even enough room to cast...
Lol that smart alic tone though
I bought a rapala high octane spinning combo and south bend eclipse reel and the rapala looks kind of fake what do you think
I got snagged in the finger once, lesson learned I never walk to close behind people fishing.
the first one is so true it happened last time I went fishing last week
Pet Peeves, when you ask someone to come fishing but they say no and then you find out they went fishing
When you fish with someone on shore line, that always has to be in front of you and cast in front of you then keeps saying things like "IN YOUR FACE!" as if they are the better fishermen and don't realize they are just getting first cast in every spot.
3:16 Like Zoinks! That's what Shaggy's up to these days.
That last one makes me rage every time....
Do you another video of what’s inside my tacklebox please I really like those videos and keep on making great videos do you’re really awesome and I think your village are really helping me and my brothers fishing skills and I just wanna say thank you for teaching me all the stuff I’ve caught your car up and bigger bass with your tips
my fishing pet peeves is that you bring your friend to fishing and he is just eating I CALD IT THE EATHER
I have a pet peeve, when your fishing with friends and they catch a bunch of fish when I didn’t catch any
Finally another one this is my favorite series
