Every time I listen to it, I find new meaning... Mehdi Hassan is truly great.. the depth and the timbre in his voice is just amazing... and when I want to go into the zone, I just play MH and immediately I am transported!

To be very true, the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was miles ahead of his contemporaries and juniors, as an exponent of Ghazal Gayiki, in so far as his control over lafz, sur, taal, and loy is concerned ! Perhaps, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab was absolutely right in his assessment ! Besides, the great Khan Saab had something divine in his voice, which made him so special ! There will never be another Mehdi Hassan !
