There are a lot of cars that can be your dream car, but the Audi RS 5 is my dream car. I just think it's a perfect vehicle to daily drive and to have fun in, and the looks and engine alone are so appealing to me.

I picked up a new 2021 Audi S5 have had it for 4 months, my opinions are this. I test drove the RS5 for many hours and it is a fantastic car, amazing handling. But when I sat down I could not convince myself to spend the extra 20-25,000$ more for the RS. I added the black rear spoiler and black audi logo's . It basically is an RS5. But to spend that kind of money to go from 4.4 to 3.7 0-60mph I could not justify.
Agree with you, the same here. I told the salesperson last week when I got the S5, either I will pay Audi or the ticket man. The S5 Prestige trim has the same features minus the HP and black rings. It still a more than capable car for daily fun and use as Sam noted. If this car was a woman it would be homewrecker :) enjoy it and safe driving. This is the best review so far
Totally different cars. I have a rs5 B9 and can’t think of comparing it to the S5… you need to own one to understand the difference… looks are subjective
As for the sound system, the B&O sub in the sportback apparently was wired out of phase. I switched the phase on just the sub and the low end took on a totally new dimension.
How’s the ride quality? I noticed in parts of the video where it looked like it was quite a bumpy ride (even in auto mode) but not sure if its a result of the suspension or the roads or both.
I love Audi's flat bottomed steering wheels. Not sure why more manufacturers don't offer them in their sporty cars. Even Audi is removing them from different models. I had an S3 as my previous car, and it had the flat bottomed wheel, but they removed it from the 2022 version. I guess you can only get them in the RS cars now.
The main reason for what you are describing is the fact that Audi doesn't make flat bottom steering wheels with heating. And yes from some reason they are pushing heated steering wheel to more trims which cause the sport steering wheel to disappear. But you can choose flat bottom steering wheel as an extra option. (at least here in Europe)
This thing is nearly perfect aside from those blank buttons lol. From what I'm seeing, It seems to ride pretty stiff though, can that be adjusted? Such as Sporty engine response but with comfort suspension
I actually found the ride quality to be superb in every setting except Dynamic. You can adjust the suspension independently in Individual mode, as well.
It's 2021 and Audi still has that god aweful lcd display over the dashboard. Jesus get some new design ideas. Look how good MB interiors are compared to this shtie

If I could get over the way the front end looks, the M3 Competition is my pick. RS5 rides slightly smoother, but the M3 is better in every other way.
