- Here is some more release gameplay, It's a pretty fun game to play with a gamepad. I had no luck so far in the gacha with the actual banner but you have a character selector in the current event.

Jk this game definitely stands out among the seas of newer gachas.
I hope they should release this ASAP on global since there are many cn games fall off becuase of release schedule and competition on gacha market.
It's interesting cuz we don't have that many 2d side scrolling action gacha game. In fact, I don't think we have a competent 2d hack and slash in the gacha market yet.
The open world is just a glorified main menu like ZZZ. It can be used for world building but ZZZ did it poorly IMO. It hinders the gameplay which is the combat. Also takes more space in mobile phones.
Anyone know who publish this? Hopefully it's not backed by tencent or it's self published.
Hmm... The Developer (and I guess Publisher too) is Dragon Tide Pavilion Studios. I guess it's a new Company, and as far as I see, it's a Self Published without any back up.
PS : Anyway, the gameplay is kinda remind me of an old Korean MMORPG, titled "Closers Online". Well, it's not that old actually (Around 2016 or 2017), and the server is still active on Steam. But yeah, it's not a Gacha Game.

the gameplay looks pretty stale. everything else actually looked nice though
the art also sus, the illustration, the 3d on character page, actual 3d in city, and l2d everything looks different even though it's the same character, also the city illustration on loading screen also different than actual city, is this the artist's fault for being inconsistent or are they using AI art? idk
some ui just hsr copy, and zzz copy, the sfx feels cheap, The footsteps sound feels like a generic sound that is usually used in mobile battle royale games, and other sfx feels generic

There are so many Kacha games, the question is - who will play this one, even if Kenshin is still playing and additions are still coming out there? Who needs these games? The same as in others

The market is big. There are always players who will play any gacha game. Part of it is the F2P aspect and being mobile.
Genshin still has the highest profit of all gacha games but it is not the best. There are still huge chunks of players that don't play Genshin.
It's also a different genre. Some players don't like open-world games.
Now they just need to get lucky and hit the right players and maintain a good relationship with them. I've seen multiple small gacha game communities that are successful. PGR is one of them.
You're not taking into consideration the fact people will like literally anything.
Genshin is Open World, and to be honest, some people already tired with Open World Gacha Game. So new addition gacha games like this is something refreshing.
