- Yuki Ishikawa & Perugia DESTROYED Modena in Coppa Italia 2024 !!! Objective achieved for Sir Susa Vim Perugia who gets the ticket to the Final Four of the del Monte Coppa Italia repeating the 3-0 of the championship match, which took place just four days ago on Boxing Day. The Block Devils, in front of their own fans, once again prevail over the Emilians of coach Alberto Giuliani in 3 sets with partial scores of 25-20, 27-25, 25-22. For the club of president Gino Sirci it is the 11th Final Four, the 12th if we also consider the A2 one.
Three very tight sets, against the Emilians who pushed the service making it particularly difficult to hold the ball in reception and the change of ball less fluid. Plotnytskyi from nine meters increases with an ace, Davyskiba's attack doesn't pass the net and Sir advances 23-20. The black and white block on Buchegger is worth the set point. Ishikawa closes 25-20.
Giuliani's boys start ahead also at the beginning of the second set, but waste their serve, Mati Pardo signs the +3 (5-8), but from nine meters shoots out. Giannelli arms Ben Tara who hits a powerful diagonal, Loser finds the ace, but Modena stays ahead and with the ace of Sanguinetti extends to +4 (9-13). From nine meters also wastes Ben Tara, but then scores and brings his team back in contact. Plotnytskyi hooks up (22-22) and Gutierres' attack out along the parallel line (confirmed by video check) is a very important point for the Block Devils. Modena turns things around with Semeniuk's service out and Buchegger's ace that hits the set point. A fiery final at the advantages: Ben Tara's block on Davyskiba's attack closes the partial to the ovation of the PalaEvangelisti.
The hosts want to close the game and start off the third set with ease; Plotnytskyi's smash breaks the floor and with Loser Sir extends the lead to 9-2. Tommaso Rinaldi first scores from nine meters, then sends it out. The black and white wall blocks Gutierres' attack twice and Ben Tara closes the exchange diagonally (11-5). First time out for Simone Anzani and Buchegger's maniuot who wastes it from nine meters (13-8). Massari recovers a length, but Solè resumes the race. Ben Tara's maniout and first time out by Loser and Sir escapes to +6 with the ace by captain Giannelli (17-11). Modena tries to get back into the game with Buchegger's diagonal and Jacopo Massari's maniout, but Perugia quickly runs away towards the end of the set. Giannelli's first intention touch scores 22-18, Rinaldi closes, but De Cecco from nine meters sends it widely out. Plotnytskyi grabs set point. Loser closes in first half.

ビッグサーバー2人におもいっきり狙われてたね。いつものことだけど。
1.5セットしか出てないけど、10得点（サービスエース１、ブロック1）で攻撃面はよかったけど、レセプションが。。とはいうもののいつもレセプション安定してるプロトニスキやコラチさえエースとられてからなぁ。3セット目はダヴィスキバがベンチに下がったし、モデナにはいつもサーブでやられてる感じ。でも勝ててよかったです。
まあでもプロトニツキセメニウクになって逆転したし、3セット目はそれまでのセットと違ってリードされる事無く取れたのも事実。
セメニウクプロトニツキの方が結局守備面含めて安定するんだよなぁ

He just played 1,5 set and get replaced to Semi. And because of that I went back to sleep.😊 2nd set was kinda tough especially serves from modena, I understood the Coach thought. Congratulazioni Perugia🎉 btw using his name in this 1,5 set play is kinda... I am afraid he's stressed from the overuse, overrated, high expectation or whatever it is called from using his name.
He got aced 5 times in nine passing attempts and the other four attempts were negative, passing 0% positive 0% perfect. He deserved the yank.
