Christopher Reeve passed in late 2004, and Robin Williams passed in mid-to late 2014, 10 years later. I think if Reeve hadn't had his accident, he'd have saved Robin, and they'd both still be on Earth.
RIP Robin Williams (July 21, 1951 - August 11, 2014), aged 63 RIP Christopher Reeve (September 25, 1952 - October 10, 2004), aged 52 RIP Dana Reeve (March 17, 1961 - March 6, 2006), aged 44 You will be remembered as legends 🙏🙏🙏
1:26 before he passed, he had regained some feeling in his fingers, so whatever he was doing it was working, and I believe that if he had lived longer, he would've walked again.
He was so good-looking and fun loving. In one of his first interviews, I think on Larry King Live, after his accident he answered a question about what happened to him with this (paraphrased) "Some people fall out of a window on the sixth floor and only have a few scratches. Others trip over their shoe laces and have a fatal fall." His and Robin Willams' friendship was everything the definition of friendship should be. That was not the actual footage of his near fatal accident. Apparently he fell straight on the top of his head and his first 2 vertebrae were crushed by the weight of his entire body. Basically his injury could be compared to being decapitated because his skull was no longer attached to (the rest of) his spine, but was only attached to the rest of his body by skin, veins, arteries, muscles and nerves. It's a miracle he survived at all.
Christopher Reeve and Robin Williams were roommates at Juilliard so were friends before they both became famous in the late 70s having huge success playing aliens. Very different men, but they were close like brothers. Oh and Robin's next roommate after Reeve? Kevin Conroy, who went on to become many peoples favourite Batman. :)

Totally agree
Christopher reeve always said the most challenging acting job he had was superman in an interview with letterman. Chris was a wonderful human ❤
I was a kid 👦🏽 in the 70’s and 80’s, he was our Superhero, the music and Superman scenes at the end, soooo emotional 😢😟😔

This one here. 👍🏻
Cavill never played Superman so no one should even mention him with Superman's name.

Conroy was never Robin's roommate, he lied. And he's not Batman, he "never wore the cowl, so he wasn't the character."
