I am not in the funeral industry/profession, but have played organ for many funeral Masses. I think from all I have read and seen/heard, this profession is important, human and noble. When my brother, parents and also brother-in-law all passed, the funeral directors were very helpful to the family, even lending us several folding chairs for the guests in our house! That was the George Makuchan Funeral Home in Conemaugh, PA. Kari, please keep up the great work and videos!

I just found your channel and after watching a few of your videos I thought “wow what a wonderful person” and the caring and kindness of your heart and nature must be a blessing in a time of need. My second thought when I heard you were a traveling embalmer, was if the need arises I will absolutely look you up! Then I came across this video and I was so surprised and happy to hear you are from my very own town!!! I’m in the medical field (I’m a cross over from human to animal to animal/human medicine) so I appreciate seeing the opposite side of the surviving medicine!
It brings me so much relief to know that you fear death like the rest of us. I am so drawn to this line of work and at 33 years old am considering doing this for a living but I am doubting my anxiety and fears. I am leaving it up to God as to what I will do.
I live in San Francisco near Colma...the city of the dead. Just visited Cyprus Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Opened in 1892. Took a private tour...I'm fascinated with the mini mausoleums and markers of the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. One of my Masonic Brothers is head embalmer at Cyprus. Arranged the tour we took. Love those old bronze cremain erns of 80-90 years ago.

Kari, I am currently going to school in the mortuary program. I actually just got started, so I’m only doing the basics right now but I am so excited to get more in depth and learn more. It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was very little, to help people and bring light to what could be a sad situation. So I decided to get on TH-cam to see what I could possibly learn about it and I came across your videos. I have been watching all of your videos and I have learned so much and I am so impressed by how much you know and by how sweet you are and I aspire to be as good as you are! The Tri-state tragedy was the worst thing to happen in the funeral home industry here in the south. The only thing the owners needed was an inexpensive part that went into the ignition unit of the retort. That was the most ridiculous thing to ever occur in the industry here. Many of my associates went there to assist in the embalming and clean up efforts were just blown out of the water at what they witnessed and encountered.It was a very emotional experience for many of the practitioners that helped out in that situation!
The funeral business isn't Marca be . Death is just the last part of our lives . I have a different view of death , thanks to my daddy. I have gone to funerals as long as I can remember. We never said passed away or gone to heaven ; we said they died.
I used to be frightened about death..( honestly, no one wants to die!) but, listening to you explain things gave me a better understanding about the whole situation..I prepaid a cremation for myself, I bought a plot in a cemetery, ( room for 5 urns) and my ex-husband is making me a concrete Vault for our urns..he does concrete work for a living! Obviously I’m watching this well after the live stream, but I’m glad I’ve finally gotten the chance. I was interested when you were talking about what you want for yourself when you die. I was honestly a little surprised when you said about being fearful of your own death. But it really does make sense when I think about everything you’ve seen. I was given what I consider to be a blessing almost a year ago. I’ve got a problem with bleeding ulcers. Last year in August I had an ulcer that bled out very quickly. I have AWFUL veins and the EMTs couldn’t get an iv started so we just left. About two blocks away from my house the ambulance pulled over and stopped. That’s NEVER a good thing. My blood pressure bottomed out to 40 over zero. I was quite awake still and clearly remember looking at the B/P machine and knowing exactly what those numbers meant. But at that moment I realized I was ok if I died. I have a great peace about it. I don’t want to go anywhere anytime soon, but I’ve got an absolute peace about dying. I’m not sure there are very many people who experience that the way I did. I guess I’m weird to think of it as a blessing, but I do. I have a lot of completely non-life threatening health issues that have required a few very touchy surgeries. Two of them brain stem surgeries. I could very well need more in the future. I just don’t know. But I do know I have no fear of death.

I'm so sorry for Victor. What a great addition of extra time compared to march that was originally stated. Victor I still think of you and pray for you. I pray your time is spent making memories even on days you aren't feeling well. When I started on the journey of learning about Victor my mother has lung cancer that has spread to the brain. It's like god used Kari to connect victors story ahead of what i would face with my own Mom. She is in complete denial. We can't even talk cancer or funeral much less make plans. It's sooo hard.
Ha ha ha! The Michigan accent! I was born in Massachusetts and lived in Michigan for several years. When I lived there my daughter said I had developed a Michigan accent, though I wasn’t aware of it. Later I moved back to Boston but never really had the “Bahston” accent. Now I live in Kentucky so who knows.? Thank you for making such informative videos. Death, funerals and burial are an area that most of us know little about. It’s good to get real information, especially about the embalming process and what really happens to a body after burial. I often wonder what state my father mother and other family members are in having been buried for decades. It is somehow comforting to know the truth.

I just found you today and I thank you for taking the time to explain so calmly about everything I had some extremely horrible experiences with loved ones who passed when I was very young I’m fifty nine years old and finally came to peace with death and funeral homes. I have a fear of funeral homes and not comfortable at all with them. I had to go to one on one therapy a couple of years ago. So again thank you so much I’m grateful to you for explaining so calmly and natural.❤️❤️❤️
I don't live in Michigan but whenever I go there, I can pick out a person's accent right away and I personally think there is nothing wrong with it. I enjoy listening to different accents.
I know this is super late to comment but I love this video! And all your videos of course...when you were talking about a k9 funeral and you said you would lose it and be so upset and watching a movie and an animal dies you’re done. Girl, I am the same way!!!! I honestly am the only person I know who is that way! People passing away is sad obviously...not trying to sound awful or anything. Hi Kari, I love your videos. They are very informative and comforting. I'm hoping that you can answer a question for me. I remember (decades ago) when a wake would be held at a funeral home for about three days and on the fourth day was the burial. Recently, I noticed that wakes/viewings can be as short as 45 minutes, followed by the memorial service and burial or cremation. Has the industry moved away from three day wakes? Thank you for all your time and consideration.

What does a work/life balance look like for you as a funeral director? How can one plan in any time to travel while on call? My sister and her boyfriend work in laboratory science and EMT so I anticipate it would be similar. I’m looking at funeral director assistanceships while also applying to college to get certified.
Hi Kari, First about accents. Think about it. You are accustomed to your speech and those who are similar. However most people are from "someplace else". There are SO many modes of speech just in North America. In summary there is nobody who doesn't have an accent. My late wife and her family were Rhodesians. That country being a former colony, they still had British citizenship. So her dad and I talked about differing modes of speech now and then. Even the UK has something like 15 recognized distinct accents. We agreed that the clearest English any of us ever heard were California news anchors. I am pretty much a lifelong Californian. But for years a number of people all thought I was from Montana. The idea is very nice but it is not so.
As far as paying for funeral a friend of mine passed a way out of the blue he did not have any funds the city paid for it. She was cremated but the bare essentials was $2100. It’s okay you don’t have to comment on all of mine. Your videos are very good.
samasia skipperable Some funeral homes will do the funeral on a donation .Like my dad he passed n our local funeral home did his as a donation to our family.My mother did NOT have worry about paying one cent.They did amazing n it was nice not free looking.
#Kari For many years I've wanted to be a Funeral Director. I've always felt that with my own life experiences I could offer great support to grieving families. The business end of being a Funeral Director is also right up my alley. I love to plan events! lol The one thing that has stopped me is having to learn embalming and restoration. I know my limits and I have absolutely no desire to do either. I'm not spooked by dead bodies but I don't want to be poking around on them in that way. It's one thing to arrange them nicely in their casket, but using instruments to...well do what embalmers do...no, that's not my cup of tea. In order to be a licensed FD would I *have* to know how to embalm?

I mean, if I were send out a resume' to some funeral homes, or just stop in, what position/s would I say I was interested in? I have alot of accounting experience, but no degree. I so understand about the pet burial. I am a nurse and seeing people sick , hurting and dying doesn't really bother me ; I could never work in a veterinarian clinic , I loose control of my emotions when I see a hurting animal. I have she'd more tears over my animals than all my family that have died , and that's all of them. I an literally the last surviving member of my family.

There was a question asking if funeral homes ever rent or loan out their space for other uses and I have seen this done. A few years ago, a cousin had his graduation "party" for lack of a better term (reception?) at a funeral home's fellowship hall. While it wasn't the funeral home per se (separate building) it was the building which houses the crematorium. The drapes or blinds over the viewing window to the cremation area were closed of course. lol Reason my cousin could use it, he had a classmate whose dad owned the funeral home! :) So that worked out good.
Kari The great Swami Yogananda author of the classic "Autobiography of a Yogi" died and was embalmed. His body was observed from March 11 to March 27, 1952, without any observable sign and scent decay. Harry T. Rowe of the mortuary said this was unique in his experience[The comments I have abbreviated, but the comments in their entirety can be found in the preface of the book]. Some in the profession have said that this was not that usual. What are your thoughts about this phenomena?
So down here in SC and in Georgia when it comes to Viewing the deceased at a funeral we tend to do one of two things. 1) is a processional view where the body will lay open for like a hour before the service, then the people will view, sit down, and then carry on with the rest of the service. The 2 one is a parting view/ recessional view where the funeral directors will open the casket after the preacher gives the sermon, people view, they close it, and they drive off for burial. So my question is have you heard of this before and do the families you serve view at the beginning or end of the service?
An animal funeral would be awful for me. With animals in movies, if there's an animal in the movie - I stay until the very end of the credits. I better see the ASPCA (or something like them) logo. Also, I have cried about CGI animals (Harry Potter movies).
Kari Northey I plan to have my cats cremated to be buried with me. I however, couldn't put them to sleep for that reason. That is personal preference, but I couldn't have my sweet babies be put to sleep just for that purpose. Love you much, fellow believer in Christ. I am a nurse and have been around death with my occupation. I have sat for hours after my shifts, if someone is actively dying so they aren't alone when they pass. When they pass, I feel a presence in the room. A feeling I can't describe as if there is a heaviness or something there. I believe its presence of God. Many times, when someone is actively dying they talk to someone that I can't see, they look out the window, etc. they sit up and reach for the air. I am not fearful of my own death. I have a strong faith that we have a promise of going home and everlasting life. You truly are a gift to your profession. Thank you so very much. 🌻

Happy belated birthday Kari & milestone maybe 40th? ☺ I was glad you answered what I would have asked, what choice you would want for yourself personally, burial or cremation. My parents are in a mausoleum outdoor lowest level where my brother, sister, brother in law & sister in law will also be. My mom is in a casket with my dad who was cremated, at her feet. We did go to view his cremation because I did ask & want to be there, now very happy I did. If there for birth why not let them leave this world surrounded by love as well. I could absolutely NOT deal with animal loss either. The grief of loosing my last dog as suddenly as you described of the person who slid on wet grass, my girl was at the vet for a normal heatrworm check, heart & lungs fine, no signs of any illness and that night she was coughing up the water I gave her, the next am I had to let her go....DEVASTATION beyond belief!!!! I had her cremated very close to my home & they did a viewing, and everything just like s person, & let me view the next day she was cremated alone as I requested. I held her & had my brother take a pix, and there is clearly a mist like Angel off to my left shoulder, no mistaking!!! So it's great that you do respond to us because this is not an easy thing for any of us to want to think of. It's this mysterious thing some people just don't wanna have to know about much less imagine what we go through when we can no longer speak for ourselves. We are left literally naked and alone in the hands of someone we don't know that never met us. Life is so PRECIOUS and you are so right anything can happen at any time to any one of us, we hear it all the time and you certainly see it. It is a wow factor at what services can cost over $10k, I guess I get it but also kinda think it's a lot. It is even awful to spend $400 to not save your beloved dog and $250 for their cremation and your heart is as empty as your bank account. I'm 53 & wish I could turn back the clock already, because I know I want more time.
Kari Northey Wow good guess hey or something else? lol And my dog was 13 as well and there just is no time frame on grief, there just is not. Dogs love so unconditionally and what makes it so worse is you can't comfort them with words or explanations. Mine under sedation fought it with that huge cone of oxygen over her face lifted her head and opened her eyes to look right at me. The vet had tiers, the tech, & said they do not want to leave us any more than we want to loose them. She had a collapsing trachea and should not have been intubated she had a level 4 so would never get the oxygen. Anyway yes it is the worst, and NOTHING makes it better. I have a 3yr old Pomeranian now my sister got me 4 days after I lost Buffy, & tho I fell in love all over again they are as individual as people. A loss is still a loss even when they have fur.
Victor, sweetie please dont give up. The doctors do not give us our date because they don't know. My nephew had stage 4 cancer in his lungs and brain... the important thing is to live your life to the fullest. How about a all alkaline diet and ask your doctor aboit edta Chelation therapy and high dose citamin, mineral and macro nutrient infusion??? Fight baby... I am praying for you and your family and friends.. Also your right about Keri.. I think shebis wonderful and Im waiting for my appt with her as well. My prayers and good vibes in a collectice consciousness are being sent to you.

You're lucky my husband is in the driving trade. If you drove from the top to the bottom of the country its about 1,300km and it would take you about 14 hours. There's lots to see in the UK London being the capital has the most to offer. Buckingham palace and all the sights. Everything is accessible from London using trains etc. X
If you do a meet and greet I'd really like to meet. I'm 31 my children are 2 and 4 when they are both in full time school I'm hoping to get a job in the funeral industry I have my own personal reasons for wanting to do this. Even if my family think I am crazy. I just worry 31 may be too old to get involved in the industry x

I watched one of your other videos about the cosmetic side of presentation and you spoke about the airbrushing and how you have not tried it. From what I can tell it is just like the Luminess and does give a more natural look, plus it is very simple to use. I think you should try it sometime I think you might like it.
Robin Moore the air brushing unit You spoke of was first marketed to the funeral industry. Over 25 years ago I had to do the cosmetics on one of my customers that had passed, and they (the funeral home) had just got their Luminess system !! At first they weren't being used too heavily, so the Luminess comp. Decided to sell to the public, and it took off!!! Now, many funeral homes use them, and some don't !! I still do the cosmetics the old way. That is how I was introduced to the "Luminess" air brush system!! Interesting how it was created for the dead, and now the living use it too !!!

It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was very little, to help people and bring light to what could be a sad situation. The Tri-state tragedy was the worst thing to happen in the funeral home industry here in the south. The only thing the owners needed was an inexpensive part that went into the ignition unit of the retort. That was the most ridiculous thing to ever occur in the industry here. Many of my associates went there to assist in the embalming and clean up efforts were just blown out of the water at what they witnessed and encountered.It was a very emotional experience for many of the practitioners that helped out in that situation!

I used to be frightened about death..( honestly, no one wants to die!) but, listening to you explain things gave me a better understanding about the whole situation..I prepaid a cremation for myself, I bought a plot in a cemetery, ( room for 5 urns) and my ex-husband is making me a concrete Vault for our urns..he does concrete work for a living! Then they'll be enough $$$ left over for a party! Thanks for Everything Kari, you're Awesome!!

Obviously I’m watching this well after the live stream, but I’m glad I’ve finally gotten the chance. I was interested when you were talking about what you want for yourself when you die. I was honestly a little surprised when you said about being fearful of your own death. But it really does make sense when I think about everything you’ve seen. I was given what I consider to be a blessing almost a year ago. I’ve got a problem with bleeding ulcers. Last year in August I had an ulcer that bled out very quickly. I have AWFUL veins and the EMTs couldn’t get an iv started so we just left. About two blocks away from my house the ambulance pulled over and stopped. That’s NEVER a good thing. My blood pressure bottomed out to 40 over zero. I was quite awake still and clearly remember looking at the B/P machine and knowing exactly what those numbers meant. But at that moment I realized I was ok if I died. I have a great peace about it. I don’t want to go anywhere anytime soon, but I’ve got an absolute peace about dying. I’m not sure there are very many people who experience that the way I did. I guess I’m weird to think of it as a blessing, but I do. I have a lot of completely non-life threatening health issues that have required a few very touchy surgeries. Two of them brain stem surgeries. I could very well need more in the future. I just don’t know. But I do know I have no fear of death.

I'm so sorry for Victor. What a great addition of extra time compared to march that was originally stated. Victor I still think of you and pray for you. I pray your time is spent making memories even on days you aren't feeling well. When I started on the journey of learning about Victor my mother has lung cancer that has spread to the brain. It's like god used Kari to connect victors story ahead of what i would face with my own Mom. She is in complete denial. We can't even talk cancer or funeral much less make plans. It's sooo hard.

Ha ha ha! The Michigan accent! I was born in Massachusetts and lived in Michigan for several years. When I lived there my daughter said I had developed a Michigan accent, though I wasn’t aware of it.
Later I moved back to Boston but never really had the “Bahston” accent. Now I live in Kentucky so who knows.?
Thank you for making such informative videos. Death, funerals and burial are an area that most of us know little about. It’s good to get real information, especially about the embalming process and what really happens to a body after burial. I often wonder what state my father mother and other family members are in having been buried for decades. It is somehow comforting to know the truth.

I just found you today and I thank you for taking the time to explain so calmly about everything I had some extremely horrible experiences with loved ones who passed when I was very young I’m fifty nine years old and finally came to peace with death and funeral homes. I have a fear of funeral homes and not comfortable at all with them. I had to go to one on one therapy a couple of years ago. So again thank you so much I’m grateful to you for explaining so calmly and natural.❤️❤️❤️

And all your videos of course...when you were talking about a k9 funeral and you said you would lose it and be so upset and watching a movie and an animal dies you’re done. Girl, I am the same way!!!! I honestly am the only person I know who is that way! People passing away is sad obviously...not trying to sound awful or anything. Hi Kari, I love your videos. They are very informative and comforting. I'm hoping that you can answer a question for me. I remember (decades ago) when a wake would be held at a funeral home for about three days and on the fourth day was the burial. Recently, I noticed that wakes/viewings can be as short as 45 minutes, followed by the memorial service and burial or cremation. Has the industry moved away from three day wakes? Thank you for all your time and consideration.

What does a work/life balance look like for you as a funeral director? How can one plan in any time to travel while on call? My sister and her boyfriend work in laboratory science and EMT so I anticipate it would be similar. I’m looking at funeral director assistanceships while also applying to college to get certified.

First about accents. Think about it. You are accustomed to your speech and those who are similar. However most people are from "someplace else". There are SO many modes of speech just in North America. In summary there is nobody who doesn't have an accent.
My late wife and her family were Rhodesians. That country being a former colony, they still had British citizenship. So her dad and I talked about differing modes of speech now and then. Even the UK has something like 15 recognized distinct accents. We agreed that the clearest English any of us ever heard were California news anchors.
I am pretty much a lifelong Californian. But for years a number of people all thought I was from Montana. The idea is very nice but it is not so.

As far as paying for funeral a friend of mine passed a way out of the blue he did not have any funds the city paid for it. She was cremated but the bare essentials was $2100. It’s okay you don’t have to comment on all of mine. Your videos are very good.
samasia skipperable Some funeral homes will do the funeral on a donation .Like my dad he passed n our local funeral home did his as a donation to our family.My mother did NOT have worry about paying one cent.They did amazing n it was nice not free looking.
#Kari For many years I've wanted to be a Funeral Director. I've always felt that with my own life experiences I could offer great support to grieving families. The business end of being a Funeral Director is also right up my alley. I love to plan events! lol The one thing that has stopped me is having to learn embalming and restoration. I know my limits and I have absolutely no desire to do either. I'm not spooked by dead bodies but I don't want to be poking around on them in that way. It's one thing to arrange them nicely in their casket, but using instruments to...well do what embalmers do...no, that's not my cup of tea. In order to be a licensed FD would I *have* to know how to embalm?
Really?? I'm getting excited again! If I wanted to do just what you said, what would that be called? I mean, if I were send out a resume' to some funeral homes, or just stop in, what position/s would I say I was interested in? I have alot of accounting experience, but no degree. I'm a Certified Licensed Pharmacy Technician but I don't know if that would be of any help in getting my foot in the door. Thank you *so* much for this reply!

I so understand about the pet burial. I am a nurse and seeing people sick , hurting and dying doesn't really bother me ; I could never work in a veterinarian clinic , I loose control of my emotions when I see a hurting animal. I have she'd more tears over my animals than all my family that have died , and that's all of them. I an literally the last surviving member of my family.

There was a question asking if funeral homes ever rent or loan out their space for other uses and I have seen this done. A few years ago, a cousin had his graduation "party" for lack of a better term (reception?) at a funeral home's fellowship hall. While it wasn't the funeral home per se (separate building) it was the building which houses the crematorium. The drapes or blinds over the viewing window to the cremation area were closed of course. lol Reason my cousin could use it, he had a classmate whose dad owned the funeral home! :) So that worked out good.

So down here in SC and in Georgia when it comes to Viewing the deceased at a funeral we tend to do one of two things. 1) is a processional view where the body will lay open for like a hour before the service, then the people will view, sit down, and then carry on with the rest of the service. The 2 one is a parting view/ recessional view where the funeral directors will open the casket after the preacher gives the sermon, people view, they close it, and they drive off for burial. So my question is have you heard of this before and do the families you serve view at the beginning or end of the service?
An animal funeral would be awful for me. With animals in movies, if there's an animal in the movie - I stay until the very end of the credits. I better see the ASPCA (or something like them) logo. Also, I have cried about CGI animals (Harry Potter movies).
Has anyone requested that their pet be buried with them?? Just curious...obviously I'm thinking that they passed away together?

Kari Northey I plan to have my cats cremated to be buried with me. I however, couldn't put them to sleep for that reason. That is personal preference, but I couldn't have my sweet babies be put to sleep just for that purpose. Love you much, fellow believer in Christ. I am a nurse and have been around death with my occupation. I have sat for hours after my shifts, if someone is actively dying so they aren't alone when they pass. When they pass, I feel a presence in the room. A feeling I can't describe as if there is a heaviness or something there. I believe its presence of God. Many times, when someone is actively dying they talk to someone that I can't see, they look out the window, etc. they sit up and reach for the air. I am not fearful of my own death. I have a strong faith that we have a promise of going home and everlasting life. You truly are a gift to your profession. Thank you so very much. 🌻

Happy belated birthday Kari & milestone maybe 40th? ☺ I was glad you answered what I would have asked, what choice you would want for yourself personally, burial or cremation. My parents are in a mausoleum outdoor lowest level where my brother, sister, brother in law & sister in law will also be. My mom is in a casket with my dad who was cremated, at her feet. We did go to view his cremation because I did ask & want to be there, now very happy I did. If there for birth why not let them leave this world surrounded by love as well.
I could absolutely NOT deal with animal loss either. The grief of loosing my last dog as suddenly as you described of the person who slid on wet grass, my girl was at the vet for a normal heatrworm check, heart & lungs fine, no signs of any illness and that night she was coughing up the water I gave her, the next am I had to let her go....DEVASTATION beyond belief!!!! I had her cremated very close to my home & they did a viewing, and everything just like s person, & let me view the next day she was cremated alone as I requested. I held her & had my brother take a pix, and there is clearly a mist like Angel off to my left shoulder, no mistaking!!!
So it's great that you do respond to us because this is not an easy thing for any of us to want to think of. It's this mysterious thing some people just don't wanna have to know about much less imagine what we go through when we can no longer speak for ourselves. We are left literally naked and alone in the hands of someone we don't know that never met us. Life is so PRECIOUS and you are so right anything can happen at any time to any one of us, we hear it all the time and you certainly see it.
It is a wow factor at what services can cost over $10k, I guess I get it but also kinda think it's a lot. It is even awful to spend $400 to not save your beloved dog and $250 for their cremation and your heart is as empty as your bank account. I'm 53 & wish I could turn back the clock already, because I know I want more time.

And my dog was 13 as well and there just is no time frame on grief, there just is not. Dogs love so unconditionally and what makes it so worse is you can't comfort them with words or explanations. Mine under sedation fought it with that huge cone of oxygen over her face lifted her head and opened her eyes to look right at me. The vet had tiers, the tech, & said they do not want to leave us any more than we want to loose them. She had a collapsing trachea and should not have been intubated she had a level 4 so would never get the oxygen. Anyway yes it is the worst, and NOTHING makes it better. I have a 3yr old Pomeranian now my sister got me 4 days after I lost Buffy, & tho I fell in love all over again they are as individual as people. A loss is still a loss even when they have fur.
Victor, sweetie please dont give up. The doctors do not give us our date because they don't know. My nephew had stage 4 cancer in his lungs and brain... the important thing is to live your life to the fullest. How about a all alkaline diet and ask your doctor aboit edta Chelation therapy and high dose citamin, mineral and macro nutrient infusion??? Fight baby... I am praying for you and your family and friends.. Also your right about Keri.. I think shebis wonderful and Im waiting for my appt with her as well. My prayers and good vibes in a collectice consciousness are being sent to you.

You're lucky my husband is in the driving trade. If you drove from the top to the bottom of the country its about 1,300km and it would take you about 14 hours. There's lots to see in the UK London being the capital has the most to offer. Buckingham palace and all the sights. Everything is accessible from London using trains etc. X

I'm 31 my children are 2 and 4 when they are both in full time school I'm hoping to get a job in the funeral industry I have my own personal reasons for wanting to do this. I live just a tad west of Lansing in Grand ledge but lived over in Albion about 10 years ago. Funny you say the state has more burials, a lot of people give me crazy looks when I tell them both my parents were cremated. I am like you and don't know what I'd want done with my body. I watched one of your other videos about the cosmetic side of presentation and you spoke about the airbrushing and how you have not tried it. From what I can tell it is just like the Luminess and does give a more natural look, plus it is very simple to use. I think you should try it sometime I think you might like it.
Robin Moore the air brushing unit You spoke of was first marketed to the funeral industry. Over 25 years ago I had to do the cosmetics on one of my customers that had passed, and they (the funeral home) had just got their Luminess system !! At first they weren't being used too heavily, so the Luminess comp. Decided to sell to the public, and it took off!!! Now, many funeral homes use them, and some don't !! I still do the cosmetics the old way. That is how I was introduced to the "Luminess" air brush system!! Interesting how it was created for the dead, and now the living use it too !!!
