This song almost sounds so Trauamtic, lost. Warm and sweet. Longing and heart wrenching. Loving and contemptuous. It throws so much at my mind everytime i hear it, flooding my brain with familiarity gentleness and crudeness. Well done ))

All of their music is so theatrical. I'd absolutely love it if they ended up making a dark movie/ musical (like Sweeney Todd for example) after these. Hell this sounds better than just about anything in any other musical I've ever heard :).
@@datemasamune2106 You can order them from the Cave & Canary Goods website. They also show up at their concerts, should you go to see them, which you absolutely should. I saw them in November and they were excellent, also got the GN there. There's also one issue of the second acts Graphic Novel, but it's no longer available for purchase and I have no clue when it will continue or when it will be back in print.
I'm just waiting to get rich someday and approach Casey and tell him to help me create a musical with no dialogue, just scenes on a stage doing what the lyrics say and The Dear Hunter and ALL the necesary musicians to fulfill the compositions, playing on a side live. Oh god this music is beatiful. I want Icecream.

today's music.. what you mean? Dear Hunter is today's music, Muse is today's music, Haken is today's music, Agent Fresco is today's music, and so on. I love today's music.
+DearHunterFan15 Discovered this band a few weeks ago with Act IV, recognized it immediately. Could you help me out with Mustard Gas? I listened to it and parts of it immediately sounded familiar...
+darkphoenix2 After doing a little bit of listening, I haven't heard any other versions of that instrumental. I could be wrong. The piano is sort of a reprise of it's own song, just in a softened tone.

I've heard this song over a hundred times, and I doubt it'll ever leave me without the feeling that I'm about to cry
Watch them play the song. You won't feel like you are about to cry. You WILL cry.

One of my favorite songs from their discography. It's so good

I’d have killed for them to make this album a stage musical, this shit would get so fucked up
@@Btkamp i agree 100%
Wouldn't it be amazing if they made a show out of this? Each act represents a season, I would throw my money at that for sure.
God i love Bitter Suite 1 with a passion.

I shared this with the love of my life just now
What did they think?

I can't believe I've JUST discovered THIS.
I just want a series of novels. The writing is such excellence.

A portion of this song appears on Track 6 of the Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise near the end. Check out the entire album on my profile.

Could you help me out with Mustard Gas? I listened to it and parts of it immediately sounded familiar...
darkphoenix2 What do you need help with in regards to Mustard Gas? Which part of the song?
It's just the instrumental part that plays multiple times, and the song ends with it.
+darkphoenix2 After doing a little bit of listening, I haven't heard any other versions of that instrumental. I could be wrong. The piano is sort of a reprise of it's own song, just in a softened tone.
You don't think it could be from something that The Dear Hunter didn't make, do you? Like some famous piece of classical music?
Where's her heart?

you're naive

Crazy how The Bitter Suite 1 is probably one of my favorite songs by the band as a whole when The Bitter Suite 2 certainly isnt.
Same!!!! i could do without the bitter suite 2, but 1 is my fave dear hunter song of all time
