Smith and a Wesson 586 357 revolver
6 shot 6” revolver
357 magnum holster
Best 357 magnum
Classic smith and Wesson L frame 586
I have a revolver exactly like this one. it is an excellent weapon and perhaps the best S&W revolver. here in Brazil for whom I show it is passion at first sight.
Thanks. It’s certainly a beautiful gun.
Hi my friend, well S&W really re-captured a HUGE amount of the Revolver Market from Colt and even Ruger back in the 80,s with the L frame Revolvers! Load that beauty with 125 semi jacketed Hollowpoints in .357 and fear NOTHING! I also love the underlug although I prefer the 4 inch barrel. Frankly IF I were to carry this model I,d go for a shoulder Holster. as always an excellent video! One more thing, You are right about the factory triggers on those L frames! they are great. Hope You make it to "free america" (florida) someday.
You are a mind reader, I’m actually looking at a shoulder holster right now. Lol. Thanks
You're absolutely right! A blued revolver with those beautiful grips make for an awesome revolver
Thanks. I Just love those classic’s!
I prefer black grips myself.
My second S&W ..First was the 686.....Very sturdy and 'warn' feel with the wooden grip
Beautiful gun. Thanks
Nice! I have one just like it and the stainless version also. Got them in the early 80's
That must be beautiful! 👍
Love mine, way overdue for recall retro- fitting. Hope you enjoy it,
Accurate 🎯 not concealable, but if you have to slap leather, gets the job done.
Absolutely one of my all time favorite guns. Just beautiful in my opinion. Thanks for watching
,my dads favorite i wish we kept it ..on the search for it to bring it back home..asap
Best of luck 🤞
Bom vídeo
Thank you , this gun is beautiful . Is it the one clint eastwood used in the movie ' in the line of fire ' ? anyone
Thanks. I’m really not sure if he used this model.
SIG P 228
probably was the colt python
I thought Dirty Harry had 44mag?? Maybe a 38sp 6 inch?
thats the model 29
Yes 44 mag
If you want to emulate Inspector Callahan, carry a S&W model 29 but be sure to load up with .44 Special rounds instead of the .44 Magnum. Harry explained it was for recoil control in one of the films.
can I be your son? LOL
I got that gun and a 20 gauge Remington for $500 is that good
No it’s not good, it’s great! 👍
Those holsters are cheaply made. That’s why they don’t cost a lot. Blanchi or Galco is the way to go
I agree but it serves its purpose.
TdtT 1:3. ih😂z‘.
I don’t speak your language
I just FINALLY acquired my 586 No Dash yesterday. Shot it today and love it! Mine came with original box and paperwork 😃
Congratulations on owning one of the best guns ever made 👍
I bought a 4" -1 in 1987. Its always been my favorite handgun of any type that I've owned. Its been a lot of miles with me. Thats a beauty you have there too.
One of the most beautiful guns made. Thank you
357 mag. 41 mag . 44 mag, I have all of the mags . but , my go to mag is the 41 magnum. Please look at this cartridge.!!!!!
Very beautiful revolver! Is this a no dash or dash one variant? I have the 586-8 classic with the 6” barrel that I bought new in 2017 and enjoy it very much. It’s not quite as nice as the older originals like yours but still nice. Also wanted to mention that that your voice sounds familiar? Do you have a S&W model 29-3 with the 8” barrel? I remember seeing a TH-cam video quite awhile back where the guy had a model 29 like that and his voice sounded almost identical to yours..
Im a 686 guy hands down.who wants a revolver thats blue steel and or "black"
Blued revolvers are far less common today but I agree they are not just beautiful, but *the most* beautiful firearms. I really like the shape and contour of the 586. Your 586 is especially beautiful since it doesn’t have the Hillary hole that they’re defacing their guns with these days, which is why I would have to look to the used market.
Thanks for the upload. Most people wouldn’t think staring at their equipment is interesting enough to post but I think this is a traditional and beautiful revolver.
Appreciate the kind words. Thanks
Just me but I'd buy one of these or a 686 over a colt python any day. I don't even want to know how much he paid for this gorgeous piece. The case hardened trigger and hammer really make it pop against the deep bluing and beautiful grips.
Thank you
Had mine since 1988. Will never sell it. My all time favorite.
Just a thing of beauty. Thanks

I could have. Honestly I don’t even remember what guns I have anymore. The collection got out of hand. Thank you
That thing is slick. I bet it shoots like butter. I marked my front site on my 2 inch 357 snubby
I’m taking it to the range this weekend. Haven’t shot it in years but I did shoot perfectly in the past.
That is a beauty
Thanks!
How can the Derringer be a reference point when people don't have any idea what its actual size is. May I suggest a dollar bill next time.
Well most people who watch this channel are intelligent.
Great review brother. I have more revolvers than I can count without using a spreadsheet but this one stands out as one of the finest. S&W hit it out of the park with the L frame for shooting 357. I have a 6" 586 and 686 and a 4" 681. Been on the hunt for a 4" 581 for years. No luck yet but I've always been very patient when it comes to quality firearm acquisitions.
Thanks very much. Absolutely love this gun. Good luck with the search.
Now THAT'S a Gentleman's gun! It's just Gorgeous. 👍🏻
Definitely is. Thinking about getting a shoulder holster for it.
@@GunCollector007 I used to have a shoulder rig for a 686 I carried back in the day. It was really the only Good way to carry it Concealed.
Yeah, that’s definitely the way to go
@@GunCollector007 Definitely the most comfortable. 👍🏻
What a gun.
Thanks, really may be my favorite!
Im really torn to get the 6 inch or 4 inch
4 inch if going to carry often
Pretty👍🍻
Definitely is. Thanks very much
She is a beauty, treat that thing good man!
Thank you!
Always nice to know when you know it is somewhere as you just have to dig it out....It means good success in life....Nice job....Love that true blued steel and wood....Butter smooth trigger if back in the 80's from what I remember as they were made with love not mim parts...Good stuff....
Lol, yes, life is pretty good after decades of hard work. The gun is definitely one one my all time favorites. Thanks as always my friend.
I have 686-3 with 4" barrel bought new in 1989.
👍
@@GunCollector007got a 686-3 in 6 inch along with 5 colt Pythons as well as many smith and wessons plus a few Dan Wessons I love the revolvers .
@@Coltpython1981 you should start a channel with all those great revolvers
@@GunCollector007 I’d love too but I’m not all that tech savvy .Next on my list for my upcoming birthday is the Smith and Wesson 500 in 4 inch so August 9th I will be purchasing one I actually bought a Snub nose Dan Wesson today in 38 caliber and already put a nice set of wood grips on it that I had lying around.
@@Coltpython1981 listen, if I can do this anyone can do it. It don’t edit, I make mistakes and don’t care. Do it for fun
awesome weapon...great for coyotes
Love the gun. A James Bond fan doing gun review videos in retirement. Sounds like a good plan.
Lol. Thanks very much!
where did you buy it?
My grandpa handed me down a s&w .357 wsp edition 60th anniversary. Never been shot. Wonder if it has any value even though I’m not selling it
Very valuable
Really. Thank you for the reply. Very nice revolver you got there
Nice wheel gun!!
Thanks
gorgeous
Thanks
Have you gotten this reblued or anything? Because I know it wears when it’s in a holster a lot.
Nope. All original. Thanks
@@GunCollector007 I got mine a few weeks ago and I’m nervous to put it in a leather holster because I don’t want it to wear. Should I honestly be worried since really I only bought it to use. Not just the looks of it.
Just use it and enjoy it. Can’t take it with you.
@@GunCollector007 thanks
Natural leather holster wear is beautiful.
