- Drag Race Uk Season 6 Episode 1 Premiere Reaction! The 6th series of Drag Race Uk is out and we reacted to the premiere episode! Each of the queens entered the work room and then were told immediately they would be competing in a cabaret talent show! These performances were top tier!! They were all so entertaining to watch! Then on the runway category is hometowns! Rupaul told the queens no one would be eliminated this first episode! The top 2 would have to lip sync for immunity for next week! The top 2 are Kyran Thrax and La Voix! The winner of the lip sync is Kyran! This cast is so fierce I’m surprised. That talent show was one of the best in recent years of any franchise. Everyone was so unique and different from one another, like a talent show should be. Not just a bunch of queens doing a number to a song they wrote that sounds not great. Actavia’s dancing was fierce asf, one of the better dancers to come from UK franchise. This season is looking like it may be one of the best seasons ever.

I believe the reason why the prize money is so low is down to World of Wonder. Apparently BBC shows can only offer cash prizes if they’re funded by an external production team (in this case WOW). At least in the UK prizes aren’t taxed, so the winner will get to keep all of the money.

I think Dita looks so much younger than her. I was gobsmacked when I saw her promo and found out she was 48.
La Voix FOR SURE looks and sounds older than what she is....she's gotta be lying about her age, Manila style...
People are really having a skewed and main stream media based view of what age actually looks like…
La Voix looks like at typical 43 year old, Dita Garbo looks younger because she’s had it snatched back.

@@hectorp.c6955 you’re aware exceptions exist right? La Voix looks like a *typical* 43 year old. As I said, what age usually looks like is often skewed by main stream media. eg. There’s a trend of criticising women in the public eye in particular, if they don’t look younger than their age.

The BBC is the public's money, so it's spent wisely, as Drag race is becoming more expensive the BBC decided to support the queens more. The Beeb has to fund so much, it doesn't throw money away.
