look for the menu button on your digital sat finder and press it then you should see installation click on it and you should see satelite list. In there you`ll see the list of all your satelite and their settings, look for tp list (transponder list) click on add transponder and input the frequency, the symbol and the polarity and click on save.

No not necessarily, there is a smaller one an analogue meter, it's cheaper but it's harder to use, I might make a separate video on how to use it but even then still it might take you a few trials to get it right

it can fail even after a month but it`s good to get a second opinion if you don`t trust your installer
