This is a video demonstration of Porsche Stability Management (PSM) FIND ME ON THE MY FACEBOOK PAGE FOR CONTINUOUS UPDATES AND INTERACTING WITH OTHER SUBSCRIBERS / franklin8806
Thanks for demo-ing the PSM. I just got a Porsche and this video was very informative. btw always haters on Porsche vids and always from those who DON'T have a Porsche
If you’re in a 981/718 (cayman/boxster) would keep it on most of the time but you can take it off in dry warm weather. In the 991/992 I would most definitely keep it on at all times unless your tracking in summer dry weather. Just note that even when PSM is turned off it is still operating at one wheel (when you really lose complete control)
I think PSM in my Cayenne makes a big difference in the snow. Its never really come on in any other condition. I do agree with not relying on A.I. When the shit hits the fan, dont expect Siri to save your ass.
Complete bullshit. PSM should be called PMS because the car drives you instead of you driving the car... and drives you crazy... and it's dangerous. I came near to totaling my RS60 the first week I got it. I pulled out from a side street, making a left turn up hill on the main road. I gunned it in plenty of time... in fact... I could have made it with a Prius... but my PMS had a different idea. It heaved and jerked the car and then shut the throttle down so violently that the car stalled in the oncoming lane. An approaching car slammed on his brakes going downhill and stopped several feet from broadsiding me. I vowed to always drive with the PMS off... but wait... there's more. You can't shut it off. When your car tells you it's off, it's lying. It's just reduced sensitivity. Now, 6 years later I am having electronic and expensive problems out of warranty. I don't even have 25K on the car. I wish I could find someone to delete the entire electronic system in the car so I could just drive it myself.
Excellent tutorial, very interesting! Thanks for sharing this.
No problem! Thanks for watching!

Helps me see the Cayenne is similar to Jeeps Quadradrive 2, which btw is excellent.
Always loved Jeep, but really loving my Cayenne too now.

Thanks for sharing this, was curious when I saw the following message "PSM disabled, safe to use"

Your welcome and thanks for watching!!!
The importance of PSM !!
A picture (or video) says a thousand words….
That 4-wheel drive in slippery tarmac is faster than my Toyota on dry shit🤣🤣🤣
Does PCM work like this on 2008 997 S ?
Should the PSM be on or off when driving period? I am getting mixed reviews about it. Just wanted to know
To be honest I would keep it on all the time

Agree with comment below. I think it's dangerous. My PSM has put me in danger many times by cutting power and stalling.
good information video!
