- Hello everyone :)
Based on interactions with viewers, I've come to realize that there are many intriguing aspects of resin worth exploring further. Therefore, I've decided to try creating experimental videos. These videos will focus on research or experiments related to resin, particularly those centered around 3D resin flower bloom.
In this video, I will be trying out several types of pigments to create 3D flower blooms. We will observe the differences in the flower blooms produced.
If you have any ideas or input regarding 3D resin flower bloom, please feel free to comment. If possible, I will give them a try.
The materials I use :
-. Epoxy resin : shope.ee/1fuGHwZNgH
-. White paste pigment : shope.ee/6fIwFEIBWc
-. White mica powder pigment
-. White alcohol ink pigment
-. Pale gold nugget : shope.ee/1AyXOHgOAu
The equipment I use :
-. Thermometer gun : shope.ee/4prpkMVnDt
-. Heat gun : shope.ee/5V7WXiv1mH
-. Silicon mold : shope.ee/4prpkbhXT5
-. Tripod : shope.ee/7KZAjWLXiT

Fabulous insight tutorial on how these pigments differ in effect. Thank you 🌸
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for your great work! It's totally the same info I wanted to find for months! And your flowers are always gorgeous!❤
Thank a lot :) I'm glad if the information I share can be useful
Thank you for the comparisons
I appreciate it 😊
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for this experiment! I love seeing the different types of colorants and how they effect the blooms. I’m just starting to try out blooms myself and I haven’t been able to get a beautiful 3D bloom yet. I think I need to measure the temperature of my resin next time. Thanks for sharing!
Your welcome :).
Welcome to the exciting world of 3D resin flower bloom!
Great experiment gives a good indication of the differences when adding the products to resin. I found this helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
so beautiful🙌👏
Thank you sist 😉
Thank you so much😊
You're welcome 😊
Thank you so much 😊. This was a great tutorial 😊. I’m definitely going to follow your channel.
Awesome! Thank you!
Благодарю за интересный эксперимент.суперски получилось.
Your welcome :)
Thank you for such a lovely video❤️ Looking forward for more
Thank you... More to come!
The white paste pigment is the best. Thank you
You’re welcome 😊
I love resin art comparison videos Tyfs
Glad you like them!
What a great tutorial ❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Very beautiful thank you what a difference
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks for this video! It taught me alot! Now I'm gonna try it❤😊
You’re welcome 😊
Great experiment Nayanika! Thank you 😊 Beautiful flowers🌺
My pleasure 😊
That was interesting thanks for doing that very enltening 😊❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for d experiment..now I know why people mostly use paste pigment. But I liked the mice d best for d shimmer n cool effect so I now know that mice can also be used. Thanks again
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for sharing. It might be nice to try paste and mica powder as multiple petals in one coaster. Get some with shimmer and some with definition.
You're welcome.. and thanks for the idea ;)
Cool results
But is it possible to make your captions a little bigger? Was hard for me to read even with my readers on.
Ah, okay, I've tried to enlarge it in my latest video which will be released tomorrow. Hopefully, the size is appropriate
@@artbynayanika much appreciated!
Hi there ,your videos are nice just one thing you should increase your subtitles font size nobody can read it.thanks
Ok thank you for your advice ❤
So beautiful.i love all of them. How far do you have your thermometer from the resin to take the temperature? Maybe that is what I am doing wrong. Should the paste and what is in the coasters be the same temperature?
Thank you dear...
I held the thermometer approximately 24 cm away from the target because I used a thermometer with a D:S ratio of 12:1. You can find out the D:S (Distance : Size) ratio of your thermometer to determine the appropriate distance for measurement.
And for your second question, does it mean that the temperature of the flower petals mixture and the flower base mixture should be at the same temperature? CMIIW. From the experiment I conducted, the temperatures do not have to be the same; I am solely focusing on the temperature of the flower petals mixture. I am still seeking further information on this.
I've just started looking into making flower bloom coasters and have watched tons of videos over the past few weeks. Lots of people use different products, which confused me. Your video shows exactly which products will result in what type of flower bloom you want. Thank you for sharing your video. You gained the new subscriber! ❤
Thank you for experimenting for us. Can I ask if you have mixed paste and mica powder together? Would this give a clear shimmer effect ?
You're welcome !
and Yes I have tried mixed paste and mica powder together on my flowers... One of the video featuring the results of those combination can be found in the following video th-cam.com/video/R4d_BpN__VA/w-d-xo.html
Thanks. What if add more drops of alcohol ink for the last one? Maybe more finer petal lines will show…
Yes, I also think so. If we increase the alcohol ink, it's highly likely that the flower's shape will be very delicate
Hello, can i use white mica powder or acrylic paint mixed with resin for the white swirls??
Hello.. Yes you can use white mica powder. But for acrylic paint, sorry I can't answer because I've never tried it
I just wanted to ask Nayanika while using the toothpick you touched the base or we just have to do that on the upper too layer or surface?
On this flower, I use my toothpick not just on the surface; I press it slightly, but I try not to scratch my silicone mold.
@@artbynayanika thank you so much ❤️ I shall try soon
But I do make resin flowers using alcohol ink and they are quite visible. I do not know what happened here. I wish I could show you the pictures of the flowers I made.
Woah... interesting! I'm starting to wonder if the alcohol ink I used was too diluted...
Can be. I used Pinata ink, white color. And the flowers become nice. I guess you can try with some other brand white ink and see.
