- On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Takiwasi Center, we propose this documentary that offers a retrospective of these three decades of intense clinical work and research on traditional Amazonian medicines that have allowed the institution to become a national and international reference.
From the initial objectives and the vocation of service, to the excellent clinical results recorded in the most recent scientific studies, the film presents the various facets of Takiwasi: the therapeutic community for the treatment of drug addiction, the offer of personal development retreats, the combination of Western and Amazonian medical resources, the construction of gateways between representatives of different cultures, spiritualities and knowledge, the development of natural products based on medicinal plants and the projects developed in collaboration with local indigenous communities.

Muchas gracias por todos los registros, especialmente la entrevista con el padre Carlos, que fue lo que me trajo la paz y la serenidad que necesitaba para iniciar camino solitario con las plantas maestras, como Católico, en Brasil.

Je suis allé pour la première fois à Takiwasi en 1996, depuis notre monde a beaucoup changé. Cependant la philosophie et les fondements du centre Takiwasi sont restés les même. 👏👍
Riche et excellent documentaire retraçant parfaitement ce qu est Takiwasi. Pour y être allée et y avoir travaillée dans le cadre d une diète, hors toxicomanie, je peux dire que ce centre est à conseiller à tout un chacun désireux mieux se connaître en profondeur, et acceptant surtout de regarder en face tous ses vieux schémas obsolètes et freinants ! Félicitations Jacques, Fabienne, James et tous les sérieux collaborateurs du centre !
