I get what Lush is saying with the getting sober after being drunk and high your whole life. You really do have to learn how to just be yourself again in a way. Even being around your friends and family is nerve wracking at times cos you’re just not used to being around people while sober. Let alone, now you’re in a situation with cameras in your face trynna be yourself. It’s weird to explain to someone who hasnt gotten sober after that many years of substance abuse. You almost feel like a shell of yourself and you gotta build yourself back up.
