Spending Saturdays in the dark and dingy local mall arcade in 1994-95 watching people play this game, then watching the attract mode while listening to the theme song play over until it faded out. God, the memories.....
Killer Instinct 2 could've kept the animated FMV endings, since part of the endings of all characters were in still images rather than like how the Arcade version of Killer Instinct 1 had the endings.
Spinal's Ending=Going on to become an actor? That's just so out there, it makes it all the more funny. Jago's Ending=Somehow perfect setup for the sequel. Sabrewulf's Ending=Would feel better about him being cured, but let's face it, he looks better as a wolf. Thunder's Ending=Probably the most depressing, but not quite accurate due to the details confirmed in the Xbox One game. Riptor's Ending=Left Rareware and teamed up with Capcom to make Dino Crisis (really good game btw). Fulgore's Ending=Basically the same outcome as Terminator, if Skynet won. Orchid's Ending=Was fired because of her 'revealing' choice of clothing, and sadly had no proof of Ultratech's corruption despite killing Eyedol. Cinder's Ending=Least believable in my opinion, I just felt there wasn't much to his story. Glacius' Ending=He got the parts he needed to go back home, only to find he needed to come back for the sequel. Sabrewulf's ending is contradicted in killer instinct 2 where it says he was badly beaten here and had cybernetic arms put on his body. Everyone else from killer instinct 2 has there ending working around this game.
