Nice informative video Blackie. I secure and protect my two Australian tarps in a surplus 50cal ammo box that stays in the back of my 4 wheel drive. The price of the Onewind tarp in Australia is $177 Australian dollars. US $89 is a bargain.
I just picked up a nice Grand Trunk. Abrigo sil nylon tarp 9 ft 6 by 9 ft 6 13 foot diagonal for $25 off eBay. Brand new. With 6 stakes and guy lines and stuff sack. MSRP is $99 I just seen one on sale at Dunhams for $79 I’ve used it a few times already and twice in pounding rain. No leaks so I’m happy. I also have 1 single and 2 double grand trunk hammocks and a really nice under quilt and bug net
Also have a Arcturus XL 8.5 by 12 survival blanket that works very well when it’s hot and sunny I put that one up over my other tarp silver side out and about 6 inches above the other trap seems to be a lot cooler when set up that way. The bad thing is the Arcturus is a little bulky and heavy but works well if you’re not trying to pack light like I normally do. I usually just carry a haversack and maybe a Vietnam era butt pack I have travels many miles over the years with just such a set up. Usually on the North Country Trail here in northern Michigan. I can carry enough food and other items to get me through the better part of a week but can usually catch a few nice trout along the Jordan river as the trail follows it for quite a a ways
I have seen some say pack your gear on a tarp and drag it to your camp. I just died laughing you can tell they have more money than common sense. Thanks Blackie
This really is a great tarp. Since I've had mine my other tarps and tents have been on extended vacation. Whatever the current shelter situation requires, this tarp can adapt to. I feel like it should get more attention than it does.

When the RV started leaking and we couldn’t afford to fix the leak yet we covered the leaking corner. But now when he goes deer hunting he would rather pay to stay in a hotel than to rough it like we used to. I miss the good ole days.

These look like a good tarp for the haversack I’m setting up. Maybe I will get a ultralight hammock also!

DD 4x4 is also a great tarp for about $100 bucks
My buddy has the same tarp and used the closed door method to keep his hammock dry when it rained hard back in June.
