  • I've been riding the grey Envy/Blunt Prodigy S8 Street Edition for 5 months and I decided to do a review on it. So far it has held up and is a great scooter for $200. I have to replace the grips but otherwise all the components have held up. I did have one problem though and I'll talk about it in the video. Make sure to like and subscribe for more content. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching. Also, if you are interested in the Envy Prodigy S8, I did a review on that and I'll put a link to it below.

    (Street edition.)- I've come to tell you that if you are someone who's seen this scooter and you're looking it up on youtube to find out if its good, this if for you.
    This scooter is extremely good, I got it today and honestly I am so happy I picked this scooter. I am exactly 5'7, and these scooter bars are exactly touching the bottom of my waist. I wish the deck would be a little wider, but that's just me. The bars are like 26" and the deck is 4'9 wide. This scooter is absolutely perfect for anyone under 5'9. It's also only 200$ too which is cool. But seriousy, only buy it from amazon.

      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. The only other website I would recommend buying the scooter off of besides Amazon is Broadway Pro Scooters. But I would only recommend that website if you live in the United States.

      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There aren't a ton of completes that fit people who are 6'3. The best completes I would recommend are the Aztek Fountain Complete(U.S. $199), Aztek Architect Complete(U.S. $159), or the Envy Prodigy S8 Street Complete(U.S. $199) in that order. The Azteks are bigger than the Envy Prodigy S8 Street so you might find that the bars fit you better.

    • @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing
      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would work. The bars might be too short, but bar height is kind of a preference. If you are just getting into scootering, then this scooter will work great.

  • @Stockafahrer
    @Stockafahrer 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    shall i get street editikn or park edition

    • @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing
      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends, there are several differences between both. The park edition is lighter and smaller, the deck is not boxed, and it comes with aluminum bars. The street edition is larger, 1lb heavier, the deck is boxed, and it comes with steel bars. So basically, if you want a smaller, lighter scooter then get the park edition. Else if you want something that is a little bigger then I would get the street edition. The street edition might last a little longer due to the steel bars. In my opinion I would pick the street edition because I like the size of it, but I am 5 foot 8 inches so it fit me pretty well.

      It was pretty easy to assemble. The only thing you need to do is put the bars on and tighten the clamp. All the tools you need for that should come with the scooter.

    • @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing
      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Out of the Envy Prodigy S8's I would recommend the Street version if you are taller than 5'4-5'6ish and the normal non-street version of the Envy Prodigy S8 if you are shorter than that. Have you been riding for a while or are just getting into scootering?

    Is it a good scooter for tricks too or it could break easily?

    • @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing
      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it is a great scooter for tricks. However I had my bars crack after about 6 months of hard riding. At that point though my best trick was a fingerwhip. If you want something that is strong, I would recommend getting a scooter with scs compression. Scs compression is the strongest style of compression and bars tend to last longer without the slit needed for other compressions like ihc(that's the type of compression on this scooter, ihc compression). Otherwise, this scooter is strong for how much it costs.

    • @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing
      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, so I think this scooter (Envy Prodigy S8 Street Edition) would be a great scooter for you especially if you are just starting out. I'm around 5,8 - 5,9 and this has been a great scooter for me. If the bars end up being too short after awhile, you can always replace them with taller ones.
      Another scooter I would recommend would be the Aztek Architect Complete (Here's a link to it: www.broadwayproscooters.com/aztek-architect-complete.html ). The Aztek Architect is $160 and is bigger than the Envy Prodigy S8 Street, however some of the parts aren't as high of quality as the Envy Prodigy S8 Street.
      A third scooter I would recommend would be the Aztek Fountain Complete (Here's a link to it: www.broadwayproscooters.com/aztek-fountain-complete.html ). This one comes in at $200 which is the same price as the Envy Prodigy S8 Street. It is basically a higher quality version of the Aztek Architect Complete I mentioned above. If you have anymore questions on these scooters or if you want more suggestions at different price ranges just let me know in the comments,
      -Elijah

    • @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing
      @ElijahsRidingAndReviewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really. The bars are made of steel which is heavier than aluminum, but they still spin pretty well. The main thing that affects how well the deck and bars spin is the compression and headset bearings. If the compression is too tight then it will be harder to move the deck and bars. And if the headset bearings are damaged or need to be cleaned and regreased, then they can also affect how well the deck and bars spin. The only thing I have done to improve the spinning of my Envy Prodigy S8 Street is to adjust the compression and regrease the headset bearings. Both of those thing are pretty easy and cheap to do. I hope this helps
