18:50 You can combine groups of units? Use UEF Mobile shields? And any other UEF units that are superior to Cybran so you can create a good combination. For example at T1 you could use a mix of Mantis, Lobo, Medusa, T2 Vipers, Medusa, SkyBoxer and Pillars, maybe some shields too.... you get the idea
You'll get megas on the final. You know what's the downside? Player is the only possible Cybran in the final mission. :P It's almost too bad that you didn't notice how Brackman was slowly moving away from the remains of his creation, that moment is sitting between epic and sad.
Your comment inspires me to go ahead and play the FA campaign! One does not usually expect emotional impact from an RTS campaign, but it is impressive when such a game can pull it off.
@@mahmudii2081 Which most likely was sequel bait, all things considered. Personally woulda loved a Firestorm-like expansion where QAI finds someplace safe to rebuild and innovate using 4 factions' worth of knowledge and goes on a crusade against humanity, after all that was its last directive from the new overlords. Too bad we'll never know because the IP ended up being thoroughly defiled by Squenix and is now in a sealed copyright vault at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
@@thundersoul6795 Maybe some dudes in the FAF community can either make a sequel regarding QAI or they make an entire campaign on FAF if you know what I mean. Personally, I'd love to see something like that.
i remember making a masive mass fabs spam towards the chokepoint on north west. When map expanded for the last time, it all exploded in a chain reaction very soon after :(
Playing Cybran, I actually had a lot of luck turtling through this one. Between the fact that I'm really good with a Mazor com, and that I'd worked out how the invincible shields worked. Also, defensive Scathis. No experimental holds up to a scathis used defensively. Of course, I also built a doom shotgun. (Salvation) The initial base seems to work best if you build a LOT of interceptors and put them in a patrol around the base. That holds off the gunships and tends to shoot down most of the transports.
At 19:30, the upgrade to omni is stalling because you're short on mass. That causes the entire T2 radar to stall, not just the upgrade. So the sensor stalls in its function too. I don't know if this is fixed in the FAF version.
I replayed all the campaign missions the other week, I didn't have trouble on this one, but the one before always gets me. On this mission and the one after I just went for mavor's, lots and lots. just wrecks the whole map without moving from my base.
I had difficulty on this for the first time, but I actually stayed in base and got all the locations where they come from and set up defensive lines, worked well so when I got the Aeon SACU I was able to CZAR spam to victory.
Absolutely loving your play through! Keep it up and I'm getting a good laugh out of this too! These missions are a pain when they expand, always prepare and good luck Commander!
First mission that gave me real trouble, keeping your eco alive while fighting off the attacks is pretty hard for noobs like me, ended up taking me like 8 tries lol
I do prefer multiplayer content, but find this quite enjoyable still : D One question though - I think salvations are available in this mission? A couple of those surrounded by t1 pgens (doubles firerate I believe) could surely help out. Granted, mobile units are more fun to watch!
Why are you not taking advantage of the adjacency benefits? Power generators alongside factories will reduce the building power requirements. If one side of a factory has generators attached to it, you get 25% reduced power consumption. If all 4 sides have generators , you get much more power savings. Had to do the mission before I could watch your video. Took me a good 2h to do this one. Maybe I was noobing it out and built a paragon, but I was playing normal, and I'm terrible.
This mission is easily the toughest of the six. The challenges are the early rush, gunships, and then the wagners. If you can resist the wagner attacks from the pond you should be set.
Oh that is very true. My apologies. I also typed this out when you looking for mobile shields and had gotten confused because you were UEF. also I had not finished watching. But what you used were the best choices.
But rippers are faster than doughnuts and far more agile. Much easier to clear an area out with a dozen rippers than a dozen doughnuts. Especially when you have that many ASF to protect them from air.

QAI gets re activated at the end of the campaign

That was a pretty unique way to do that mission. Moving just a little seemed to make the AI much less annoying.

i've just finished making some toast AND THE ENEMY HAS GUNSHIPS.
also i'll come back when there's 720.

mass stalling while upgrading a radar doesn't eliminate radar coverage. Pretty sure that is fixed.

This franchise should just be renamed to Donut Spam: Attack of the Czars

Btw, the AI will have multiple gameenders next mission =P
(although they're not very good at using them)

I'm afraid we are gonna have to see the other four 'curb stomp' play throughs. There's nothing we can do, its the rules.

Two tips for the next one: defenses and watch the North (there is a winter is coming joke here somewhere...)

Best RTS of all time fantastic game
BRINK asking fore more SARS just made my day. XD
I build a fuck'd ton of T3 bombers and killed their commanders in almost one single swoop. :D

Bruh, PGens Explode, take up unit cap. And are usually unnecessary
Not to mention that energy is dirt cheap if you set up your economy correctly. It's mass you need to watch out for.
@@arranrobertson1237 they increase unit build speed by up to a 100% if factory surrounded by them!
it only gets worse with the initial attacks once the map expands. you will get attacked where you don't expect.

Yeah I had trouble with it too. The best idea is to get shields and T2 point defense quick along with T2 radar

waiting every day for your campaigns :D
i'm sad you didn't build any scathis of your own.
windows noise might be you spamming the shift key and activating sticky keys
13:00 Assimilation.
54:45 Not assimilation.
I'm surprised that you had trouble doing this mission
Most probably due to the derped out patrol order that he didn't realise is bad and wrong. He had to patrol entry points, not the core mex.

SOOOOO MUUUUCCCHHHHH YYYEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to see if you will manage to turtle up enough anti-air or get stratbomber raped in the final mission.
sup com streams I mean if you didn't know :)
