This is the most Australian video ever. Greetings from NZ.

Thanks for this video mate, you did a good job. I own a few of the yeti tumblers and drink bottles, and they do an excellent job at keeping hot drinks hot, and cold drinks cold. It’s a bit harder to tell with the stubby cooler because the cans certainly don’t last much longer than 20-30 mins. Your experiment shows that they do indeed work. I’d be keen to see a similar experiment but in an outdoor setting, early afternoon, probably only need to do an hour max, but the critical data would come in the first 30 mins as you explain in this video. Cheers Mick.

Hello Michael, Great job! I did do a test showing the thermal difference over a period of 20 mins (they don't hang around too much longer than that!) using cold x3 375ml VB cans straight out of the fridge at 4° celcius. The two coolers I used were a typical 5mm neoprene stubbie holder with base, a Coolcardie Cooler made from 3mm corrugated cardboard and no cooler for the third. Results were not as I had expected. On the 25th February 2023, 3.27pm, with an outside temperature of 27° celcius in the shade - the neoprene cooler did better, but not by much at all! However in direct sunlight on the same day at 4.23pm the corrugated cardboard Coolcardie Cooler won hands down! The cans with no insulation went straight back into the fridge! Thanks again for your video! I was close to buying the Husky before I invented the very inexpensive Coolcardie!

@@coolcardie yeah awesome the corrugated cardboard might act like the insulated coolers by having an air gap. Awesome design mate

Do stubbies fit in these or just cans

Stubbies aswell, but they fit the best in the Huski one as it has a bigger rubber gasket and seals better

Wider beers such as a VB etc, won't actually fit into the Yeti. The gasket doesn't conform enough for it to fit. The Alcoholder StubZero will fit a VB, and also something as narrow as a Somersby cider.

Tell you what, my stubby didn't last more than 10 mins watching this video!
