@Nayt-doggo Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out why I got so attached to him so quickly, but I think it all comes down to being drawn to something unattainable and the endless "what ifs" surrounding him. I was one of those people hoping he'd return as a villain in some capacity, and judging by the trailer, they absolutely delivered. Plus, because of what happened in Chapter 4, there was so much potential for angst, which I love in stories. That level of emotional depth was something you'd only get from the other love interests if you read their myth cards, but Caleb's storyline is directly tied to the present plot. So much of the story feels haunted by his mysterious 'death', which naturally made me more intrigued by him than anyone else. I also liked that he was a bit more extroverted and vocal about his protectiveness towards the MC. Out of all the OG boys, he felt the closest to her, and their connection really stood out to me. Not to mention, his face card eats. 😭

Btw i dunno if anyone has stated this yet but the next main story would be Sylus(intro) but afterwards, the main story will continue through the story branches of the guys(Zayne, Rafayel and Xavier) and those story branches heavily include lore from their myths and anecdotes which might make those 3's story branches confusing if not read before the main story line(esp Zayne. He arguably has the most complicated lore out of all the guys tbh) I'm genuinely just very excited for the anecdotes tbh

I’m a little conflicted on Caleb - I felt that his death was an important part of the main character’s story arc/backstory (we need more story chapters in this game…) - but I do like his battle animations. Zayne is my main but I also like to mix things up and use Sylus and Xavier in combat…hopefully Caleb will have a good amount of cards to level up.

This is why I didn't want Caleb to be an LI because his looks and backstory is quite similar to Zayne and people are gonna compare them. Now they are gonna choose Caleb over Zayne and make him even less popular than he already is. I don't want the devs to pay less attention to Zayne if he becomes even less popular after Caleb's release. But no matter, I'll always choose Zayne over any other LI. And he didn't deserve that slander. He's already the best, he doesn't need to be compared with Caleb (who I'll always see as a family member only even though they're not blood related they did grow up together under one roof and i just can't get past that)
Btw, you were talking about how they all have high voices outside of Sylus. You should consider giving the game a try with the Japanese voice actors, I switch between english and japanese a bit and I favor Raf and Zayne more in Japanese. Zayne's voice is deeper and Raf sounds more adorable.

The title 😅😅 Sylus is still my number 1. Before I was indiferent to Caleb, he was too cute and nice but after the glow up , the mechanical arm and being possibly a villain it picked my interest. This is why I didn't want Caleb to be an LI because his looks and backstory is quite similar to Zayne and people are gonna compare them. Now they are gonna choose Caleb over Zayne and make him even less popular than he already is. I don't want the devs to pay less attention to Zayne if he becomes even less popular after Caleb's release. But no matter, I'll always choose Zayne over any other LI. And he didn't deserve that slander. He's already the best, he doesn't need to be compared with Caleb (who I'll always see as a family member only even though they're not blood related they did grow up together under one roof and i just can't get past that)

Btw, you were talking about how they all have high voices outside of Sylus. You should consider giving the game a try with the Japanese voice actors, I switch between english and japanese a bit and I favor Raf and Zayne more in Japanese. Zayne's voice is deeper and Raf sounds more adorable.
