Some time ago, I watched the video of the dude explaining that the squirrel does this sort of thing all the time. Tricks people into giving it hugs & treats. Grandad had a Dog that would wonder just past the gate & "pass out" when a car was comming. She got so good at it that Grandad had to stop feeding her 'cause too many people gave her treats untill the locals caught on

Yep! That's about right!! My domesticated fox squirrel is VERY DRAMATIC when we 'play wrestle.' If she thinks she's losing that squeal is RIDICULOUSLY OVERDONE!! I'm the one that always walks away w. The scratches!!!! 😂
And to "think" a Professor of Psychology at Latrobe University ridiculed me in front of a loaded auditorium when I suggested that animals may have the capacity to think, or at least conceptualize, which should be appropriately aligned with the capacity to think!!
